@credenza1 Yes, I learned using slip to throw form Mr. Wu. I have many chances to observe him doing demos, and after the demos his clothes was as clean as you seen me throwing on my other videos.
@zhpottery Hi, you might think I was trained in a ceramic factory in Taiwan. Not at all, I just happened to take a pottery class in my undergraduate about 30 years ago. I was lucky to study under one of the master ceramicist, Wu Rhang-Nung. You can Google to search his portfolio. My major in my undergraduate was mechanical engineering. I remember back then, we just learned how to throw by observing. It's not like today we have so many tools to learn how to throw.
Have you ever worked with Phoenix clay? I kinda have when i was in high school
