This is a really good idea. I like having a flashlight and adding to my weapons low light capabilities at the same time. Very well thought out and something I will use. It would be nice if the holster could be designed to hold the weapon with light attached. Then if you did have to switch to the light you could holster the weapon without attaching and unattaching the light. Thanks for the vid!
@USNERDOC I highly recommend this set up if you plan on using a spare magazine or two... maybe a rail mounted weapon light. I believe you can also get a Blackhawk holster designed for a tactical flashlight (of the Fenix or 4Sevens style) that would fit on your belt rig instead.
You just couldn't wait to get home to mod it, didn't your parents teach you anything about patience? Looks good, I'd switch their positions, but its your rig. ;-)
@oyarrito looks like the screw to release the light in on the back side (dunno what side you wanna call it on the light itself) so if he switched the positions, he wouldn't be able to get to that screw to release it.
Thanks for posting the video. I've been looking for a video like this so I can see how I could set up the magazine holster. It looks great.
