Just keep being awesome. At some point, one of your videos is bound to go viral (or at least, you know, get relatively popular), and then the world will be exposed to your awesome, and then you're set. Don't worry about it too much, seriously.
(interior debate... should the joke be sell more Macs or iPhones? I went with Mac because it has a "K' sound. But iPhones are more hip. Thoughts? Anyone? Paging Doctor Comedy.)
I love the concept of quarterly reports to the subscribers! I'd like to see a comparative chart to last years same quarter. Perhaps March is traditionally a slower month. Maybe it's the weather more people are going out side. Can you do subs compared to views? Be interesting to see a conversion rate. Also, pull in the numbers from when you do a colab vs new subs. I'm sure your forecast will be positive. =-]
More video responses. Not the random kind where you decide to add your latest video to someone else's that's doing well. Genuine responses that answer questions and join in the community more. That's for if you want more subscribers. I'd recommend doing whatever you enjoy though.
Unfortunately, I subscribed last night, so I won't show up until Q2, but, from what I've seen, it's a safe bet that all my friends will be hearing about you.
(Incidentally, subscribers to wellesz31 = 6, but they're loyal)
your voice is so booming, I find it amazing to listen too. I know that sounds so creepy but I don't have any other way of saying it without sounding creepy.
I wouldn't worry about the subscribers I don't think it's your fault just keep on doing what you're doing :D
I'm going out on a limb here, mickeleh, but to me it seems the strongest factors for growing vlog subscribership are a pretty face, comedic / musical talent, and regularity of new video production. Two out of three ain't bad! lol
I have a feeling the decline went down due to a lack of videos made, but since you're doing this project, I'm guessing next quarter's numbers will likely find themselves on an incline.
I'm not an expert... I've only got 27 subscribers and I collected them in 1 year! so yeah, not really the right person to ask it to... but... I would say: more videos
Oh yeah to answer the decline question. I shouldnt worry about that as well because I know its a funny game Youtube where you can get more subscribers but less views which is odd.
Its a really tough topic. I dont focus on it as much I used to because I rather do the videos I want to do and if a bandwagon comes along that is really fun then I would jump on that.

If Steve Jobs explained each Keynote slide with a ukulele, it'd be beautiful <33

Beautiful, yes. But would it sell more Macs?

You are one of my favorite youtubers
I feel very involved in your success due to this quarterly report.
I feel with time and input then your subscriber count will go up.
I look forward to seeing your next quarterly report.

Thanks for the kind words, encouragement, and confidence.
BTW. We're not done here. This was just Pt 2. I'm just getting warmed up. But I'll move on to some other topics and then come back to this.

If I could subscribe twice, I would. Keep on keeping on.
Also, free money gets people all riled up too...try that? I'm willing to be a guinea pig.

I too would like to encourage you in the free money thing.
That is a fantastic idea!

I agree! I would subscribe twice if it would help. :D
These are delightful.

I blame the sub box not working for the decline of gaining subscribers, and views.
Barry is right , it's just a number, what good is a high number if none of them watch? :)

Oh, sub box, you break so many YouTube hearts.

No reason to worry! Subscription rates are as unpredictable as the weather :-)

Where I live the weather is very predictable: rain.

Thats my opinion or two cents lol.

I meant that I dont focus on the subscriber numbers as much because its just a number.
Oh yeah Im surprised I was the first subscriber to you in 2009.
Brillant video.
