@ShadowRiverBluegrass Your's sounds awesome, it's got a little deeper tone than mine does. Mahogany tends to have a mellower sound.. I've also got a Fairchild 50th, that things a beast
Yea I like it alot, Jimmy turns out a fine banjo, underrated in the big picture in my opinion! Never met him in person, but talked to him on the phone when i aquired the Carolina, and he sent me out all kinds of promo stuff, real class act he is.I knew a fella up here, (Nova Scotia) that had the First NICKEL Plated Fairchild, and from what i remember, it was like a rocket as well. That gentlemen has passed away the better part of ten years and I havent seen that banjo since.
I hope to see these guys at some Bluegrass festivals in New Brunswick this year, they are good!!!!!!!!
