only a little flat...but i wouldn't have been able to tell if the piano didn't come in...pretty dang awesome for only a few practices. if you guys have already graduated, does this mean you guys are all in college?
i graduated this past year as well and i love acapella stuff (i did this kind of thing, but in a big mixed group in hs) class of 2010 wahoo!..er...now i guess it's class of 2014... :)
@nerdface92 They graduated in 2009 and all went off to college, but not the same one for all of them. They only sing together at Christmas break and during the summer now. New songs from the group are something of a treat for us fans. Since they are in their second year of college, we can hope for a couple more years of this arrangement.
@Jazzbeu55 ohhh 2009...ok. (i feel awkward now haha)
well i didn't think they'd all go to the same college. are 2 of them sisters? (or cousins?)
anyways, it's cool to see how their voices have changed, where the one who sang S1 and the one who sang S2 basically "switcthed" parts.
it is difficult to get together when you go to different schools and only see each other for breaks...i can imagine how difficult that must be. i love their voices, though. they are awesome :)
I just checked your stats through the first 360 views. Good news/bad news....the good news is that Canada is leading the way in viewership...the bad news is that the #1 gender/age group is "Boys 13-17" It looks like you are "Hot" (in one way or another) with your own countrymen! Hopefully your wonderful performance will enhance their appreciation of good music.
@TheFourQuarters It's a Celtic tune-"And the first tree in the forest, it was the holly" Not sure of the meter- 3/4, or 12/8. I'm sure it'll come up on a Google search. Happy New Year to all!
You girls are the most amazing female vocal quartet I've ever heard. You are second only to Boyz II Men. You souls look them up, you girls would enjoy them.
Although we have had your collection of songs to entertain us, we sincerely missed you while you were away at college. I've been curious to see what impact that process of learning how to learn has had on you. You do look older and wiser! Thank you so much for taking the time out of your probably busy schedules to perform this hymn. Each of your performances was quite well done and the whole arrangement was very moving. I believe a certain Mother and Son would be quite pleased. Merry Christmas!
Wow, this is really beautiful. Even though I had this on my list of suggested songs, it exceeded my expectations. The arrangement is wonderful. The pure soprano voice of Rachel is used in a lovely descant role. The normal parts of Sarah and Catherine are reversed, though still in tight harmony, to create a light melody and rich support. Lindsay's low voice is more felt than heard, except when moving--nice. Lindsay and Sarah, it looks like you color coordinated your outfits--I love it!
God bless u all!

@MrLuxlover You misread it Steven. In each rehearsal, we spent about 15 to 20 minutes per song. Still, that's very fast. Kevin.
