@damanlyboyz are you serious fuck tard? i bet you're some yank? get 4 SASR SF onto you're fucking regects called "navy seals" any number of em, see who wins? if we dont go to you're wars, you would be obliturated.
mahe, we dont go looking for war, if war occur's and innocents are involved, we as a nation will answer the call, the ADF has many role's, one being PEACEKEEPING, east timor is a peacekeeping effort
so since your an ignorant little shit, why dont you join your country's army and then tell us we're bad, you stupid inbred biggot fuck
learn what from the past ? here's something you can learn... In WW2, Australians 1st to stop japanese advance over land...In vietnam there was the battle of long tan, look it up cocklips, few aussie soldiers compared to lots n lots of vietnamese....aussies held up n defeated them with most unfavourable odds...results of this were to steer clear of australian patrols... we fight cos were good fuckin soldiers n other countries ask for help....
Well if it weren't for us your villages wouldn't of been rebuilt after the tsunami. Also, those other wars, Australia only fought in because the US started it.
Shut your gay mouth u fag, u say u'r an Aussie soldier but u don't know shit, Real Aussie soldiers r doing some outstanding job over there u fucking keyboard warrior.
why don't u shut your cocksucking mouth, u said "they dont realise their just a bunch of airforce faggots running around in cams" so u were talkin about them...
Im in training to be an Aussie Sniper with the Australian Sniper Cell in Singleton, then hopefully I am good enough to be considered for COmmando SNiper training in Annalea
hahahaha i lyk at 2mins 35 where the commando drops 2his knees n sticks his head in the window...to bad if sum1 was in there..pow pow pow!!!! no head left!!!
hmm i heard that the adgie training is similar to that of the army commandos, but adgies are not considered special forces... is this because they are primarily a defensive force?
just remember: upper body strength is key, no matter what anyone says. if you can't do anything in pain for muscular endurance then you will likely end up leaving the course.
If u dont mind me asking what do u mean by i was in RAR? RAR means royal australian regiment...thats like saying i was in ARMY..i was in UNIT, or my mustering is MUSTER. u mean 4 rar, 1 rar, 2 rar ? u going to designate or just keep it to RAR? makes no sense man
These guys are brave, brave people. I know someone who is doing it also. The fact that your friends says that, and mine, just makes me feel safer knowing only the absolute very best are out there. Those who can't handle it, they realise it very quickly.
Agree with scoobysnacks23 on cadet warries, stop talking shit. After IETs you're bottom of the barrel. No matter how tough you talk or act. And for f***s sake, stop talking up our SF like they're gods. They're big boys and can handle themselves, they don't need civvies talking them up. Its about strengths and weaknesses and capabilities, and our capabilities don't match those of the US, but do however compliment them, so please, have a cup of shut the f*** up with your dose of reality.
it is internationally recognised that Australia (go us) has the strongest, best trained soldiers SAS and otherwise...problem being we have so few. think about it. we are a world superpower and reasonably recognised in war and we only have an ADF force of new york city's police force!!
with the sas training they say that most people fail not because they arnt fit enough but because they mentally crack under the pressure...
If you want a good read try "The Amazing SAS" by Ian McPhedran...He interviews many of the SAS about their training and de-classified missions. And the book has permission from the government so its not all rumours.
word to the wise leave your cadet war stories at the front door when you enter kapooka, hated that shit when i was in and i still hate it now, not to mention the training cpl's will drill you ass if you start speaking that shit. just because you are going to kapooka doesn't mean that you are not a P.O.G.
I Just love the first Song anyone know what it is called?
I have to give my respekt to every Soldier on this planet. They have a job were Death can be a huge possibility. So to all the Soldiers out there you are the Finest.
why dont you learn to read idiot, i never said that you said cadets help the SAS, try reading my statement again before replying instead of throwing around half thought out statements. so what unit were you in LOL i bet you were a fkn POG.
yer the sas can fuck u up u go without sleep for days , no meals n constantly being givin new assigments to do n a strickit enviroment on slip n u fail
man those australian men are an inpiration to all of us. i want to go to the war and fight for my country but i dont think ill be as good as those men. i take my hat off to use
I've always wanted to be a sniper in the SASR, you dont have to tell me how hard it is and all that sorta stuff, i couldnt even imagine how much they'd fuck you up lol. what are the reason that you wouldnt suggest becoming a sniper?
Good luck to you mate. A peice of advice, go sign up to your local Army cadet unit. Sure, it doesn't actually count towards joining the army, but it makes sure you can remember basic things well, and it's a helluva lot of fun ;)
I quit Cadets once i moved into a city unit. Was a bunch of kids who shouldn't have been there. I was still only lance, however, i'd done three years, the size of my previous unit held me back (17RCU B coy. (Stanthorpe)), something to do with the fact that we only had about 15 people :|
Great vid. Growing up as an AJ's kid I knew a few guys who were in the SAS or trying to get in. (Some people bullshit). The ones who truely knew their shit didn't talk much. They're not aloud to.
A few comments I have heard about the steyr from reg army guys is they are excellent for close quarter fighting eg in the bush and rain forest. Not so good in open windy environments. The projectile is to light and lacks energy at distance and is also effected by wind.
Anyone know, I've been trying to track it down for years. I know it's really old, like Vietnam war old. Great vid BTW, but don't anyone hold their breath for operational contacts to be uploaded anytime soon. OPSEC and all that ...
