One "trick" I do, is I fire up an episode just before I go play MC myself, I find that this gives me inspiration and energy to do things. ;) Did that with etho's vids too, I run out of those but I still got some of yours left :]

Doc!!!! I think I just figured something out, or maybe people already know...

but both my passive and hostile mod systems were not working due to the "Mobs Not Spawning Glitch" and so i tried logging out and then logging in again and all of the sudden they were working perfect!! I have tested this theory a few times and it always seems to work :D

Only half slabs are treated as transparent, double halfslabs are treated as full blocks. So monsters can spawn on them, though in your tunnel the chances of that happening is pretty slim.

@docm77 Yes, there are SOME mob spawns but i believe it stops pack spawning.

You are at more risk due to the amount of space mobs have to spawn.

Tried it with all types of track, turned all ways and sloped, activated, and with minecarts on, minecarts with pigs in them.

Took a while but i was indept :)

About Arnold. I have got the same problem several times. I think it happens if a dog sits for a looong time with 2 or more walls around him. So if he is kind of stuck a bit in 2 walls for a long time. Then they are no longer your pet for some reason and get stuck in sit mode. I never found a solution to this though.... .

I got two frozen dogs like this since they got pushed into a corner for a looong time. Your Arnold was inside that tiny hole for a long time, so that's probably the reason.

Docm, I believe there is a bug, where if you use a sticky piston to push the block under a rail upwards, then retract it, the rail stays:D Then put half slabs under that, so no mobs can spawn. I will do a demo.
