I don't understand what the problem is with clicking, I have had practice and turned my sensitivity up and most often I am at my next move before it is even ready (as a DK with the runes cd) I personally think clicking is just as effective as key smashing because how are you gonna be fast with shift q x z r shift mouse button alt comma? It's confusing, I don't mean to say binding is a bad thing just think either way is fluid, no offense.

@gowaddict47 theres no arguement when it comes to pvp u cant click or u get merc'd by the people who can do more than slow left and right turns or straffs. Dk's a melee class, there shouldnt be any reason not to keybind, i understand when people click when their a castable move and just doin some dps on a dungeon er sumn, but keybinds will make u like 5X better ( actual mathematics used to figure this out)

Normal wow action bars are just as good as all the other ones.

It´s how you use them, as long as you use the keybinds well, you indeed are fine.

i am fan of the simple standar UI but as a druid kitty stealth bars are retarded and a pain to add the macros so bartender is >the original in my opinion tho :S

@PhoHmooAmerica It's overwhelming to do it all at once. I'd recommend doing 3 keybindings a week until you get the hang of it. Adjust per your personal learning curve. After a while, you'll WANT to keybind and recognize an ability with a hand movement. No different than typing.

You need to configure your mouse and set them as buttons. For example, my left hand side buttons on my mouse are left and end, the ones on the right are page down and right. You need to open the software and bind a key to that mouse button.

Is it even possible to be good at PvP without using my keyboard keys?

I can't stand using them... Feels too inaccurate and un-natural. I mean, I have ALOT of skills at my disposal that I could use for PvP. But I don't want to jump back and forth on my keyboard to use said skills.

@Austindwilson07 To be good you have to have keybinds. Clicking slows you down... Say your really good and your a clicker, you will see a major improvement in your skill if you switch over to keybinds.

many top players use standard wow action bars. You can do everything you need to with them. And if you ever want to go to LAN tournament its actually necessary that you get used to playing with them

valid points, but i imagine your target audience aren't looking at being pro so much as being succesful on their respective realm, in which case having bar mods can make a large difference to your game play.

i dont see how. Bar mods do nothing more than the default wow bars can do. As long as you can bind your keys then your golden.

@Arenapwnage You can have actual timers on your spells with a cooldown you can see the exact time left until you can use it again, this is much more informative than the clock spinning thing, you can have more buttons and bars at the bottom of your screen, or wherever you want them for easier viewing. this also allows you to group spells together. It makes your ui easier to learn off by heart which is most crucial, it also allows you to have more buttons than are on the standard ui.

this is why we suggest to get a separate cooldown timer addon. Such as cooldowntimers3.

@Arenapwnage I agree with you arenapwnage. Bar mods can be usefull at beginning when you're not used to your keybindings so you can squeeze ur bars and still see ur spells, but then when you know ur keybindings its more like an handicap cause it will add a bit of lagg imo.

If you've ever been to a tournament, everyone plays with default UI and default UI only. Also, pros play with it anyways because they need to get accustom to it so they are able to play their best addon free.

Actionbar mods have nothing to do with success in arena.

I'm actually quite sure that most high rated players play with standard actionbars after watching _alot_ of livestreams AND pvp movies. Mod only changes how they look. Neither does actionbar mods bring cooldown digits, that is done by omnicc. (at least any actionbar mods I've encountered). TL;DR your point is invalid, mods wont make you good. Practise with the mods you feel you need, the result is the same.
