"Para aprender a nadar hay que saltar al agua". Nos damos cuenta que el aprendizaje de un arte de combate no puede basarse en teorías, conjeturas y ejercicios o "rutinas" de combate preestablecidos, es necesario contar con un escenario "real de combate" donde se puedan poner a prueba todos los conocimientos adquiridos

@heru1985 The legend says that between 265ad and 520ad "Da Mo" made "Sho Pa Lo Han " (18 postures of Lohan) This was basically the fundamentals of the following styles that they established after this period of time in Shaolin. Lohan is a Chinese word that comes from the sanscrit word “Arhat” that means worthy/dignified There have been controversies about what the Lohan knew
In the North of China Lohan describes “enlightened spirits” from the Shaolin temple of Henan.
@heru1985 In the South of China, the lohan is considered to br a method of renegade monks of the Fukien Siu Lin temple
In the Buddhist tradition Monks could not leave the temple. How was it that the patriarchal Buddhist “Bohidarmha” was capable to leave his temple in India? Interesting question. This was an interesting problem for the shaolin monks as well. How were they capable to leave to bring missions of charity.
@heru1985 The response is very simple. In the traditional Chinese method the monks were in a sect right to its end, but this sect would let them convert into “the wondering monks of choina” who are talked about in legends and history
These “Lohan” went all over feudal china during many years the monks acquired ,many different styles of martial arts. The monks were considered experts of “Chuan fa” in China but they weren’t the only participants in martial arts
@heru1985 There are 72 confirmed sects of the Shaolin temple. Inside the sects there are many different styles of martial arts. Not to mention many people in the country mixing up the different systems and what that would bring. With this there should be 2500 different styules of kung fu in china alone
