you know when all these airhead Marxists making asses out of themselves in NYC, Fema Camps are sounding like a good idea. You protest out of your own selfish greed, you like marxism because your greed makes you think you'll have it better, yet your greed is exactly why Marxism would be an epic failure in America. Start shit with cops then play victim, and hope the world is dumb enough to buy your story.
This is why peaceful protest doesn't work when there is not a clear leader to voice what the protesters want... example, Ghandi was the spokesperson of Indian independence... Martin Luther KIng jr. was the voice of the C.R.M... who is standing up for them? I just see some kids with nothing to do but to fight mindlessly... So far I don't even know why we are in Wallstreet protesting...
I see this as just a big failure.... I was really hoping for something worth joining... but when you see this type of things, is discouraging, I can't even show support... they are getting crushed like nothing, and totally ignored, as many have said, it's just mindless protesting if they are not successful on getting their message through and clear.
Sorry to tell you kids, but the world isn't watching. People are getting more fed up with your protesting than they are getting behind it. This is what happens when you don't have any leadership and so many of the people supporting your "cause" don't even know what the "cause" is. Most of these people are hipsters from Brooklyn and pretentious kids from NYU who have a huge sense of entitlement.
@soSiccK Hey, I went to NYU and I won't be caught near this protest unless I get to pepperspray it. Then again, I used my degree for military service. I didn't go to NYU to hide out in the village and piss away my parents' money.
I was here tonight. I went home because the police were getting too out of control. Penning everyone off from any sidewalk they wanted indiscriminately, not allowing anyone to get anywhere in public areas. There's not even that many people there right now. It's not this giant dangerous situation. It's 400 people tops compared to what looked like 10,000 earlier in the day. Yet when the "adults" go home, the cops brought out the plastic handcuffs. Immediately.
@gracehehehe Exactly, when the adults went home. All that was left was a Bunch of spoiled brats who want to see the world burn. Way 2 ruin something that coulda helped people.
@gracehehehe The police were reacting to a protest that stopped being peaceful. You don't respond to the beginning stages of a riot with wishing the protesters away, or accommodation, you use non-lethal, non-maiming techniques like kettling, pepper spray, tasers, and nighsticks to chase off rioters. The cops are obviously protecting private property and keeping protesters from blocking traffic. Protesters had their chance to leave, now they pay the consequences.
I'm confused as to what NYPD's parameters are - first they won't hit you if you stay on the sidewalk, then they hit you if you are on the wrong part of the sidewalk, then they hit you for going where they told you to.
Check at the Guy with the Suit, he gives orders to cops... O_o

The only problem I see here is that there are not enough protesters. This needs to grow in the hundreds upon hundreds of thousands of people.

This is just proof that the NYPD needs an Active Denial System. I used them in Baghdad at checkpoints, and they're grrrreat.

@hanksingle To me it looks like Camera's vs. Cops. EVERYONE has a camera of some kind out. Who is in charge of the protest?
