  • Well done, dont like the effect though, very unclear, too abstract for my taste, it seems it brings about confusion, because the actual effect is hard to grasp

  • @TheBradTobin Yes, I do agree that I did my best to make the effect as obscure as possible. That's entirely my fault due to my lack of showmanship: even in real life my patter is rather plain and descriptive.

I, however, don't think the effect itself is unclear. Provided the magician is able to properly present it, it can be a masterpiece. I was fortunate enough to see Gabi doing his take (which is a two phase version) of this very same effect and the spectators reaction was amazing.

  • many thanks thumb thumb

  • @TheAtfusatfus You're welcome

  • Really nice... I recently bought the first two volumes of the Ascanio books.

    Great stuff and challenging.

  • @ambassador365 Thanks. Even though this trick is a "minor masterpiece" ("juego de arte menor") it's really challenging.

Good luck with your study of Arturo de Ascanio's magic. Volume 1 is the one I like most.
