when the fuel is 20% or lower start looking for a place close to where you might run out of fuel or divert and land refuel take off and continue flight. and how do you get the veiw to move up bc on my version of fsx right side window is the veiw of the back of wing. please help. thanks.

@TheGoodpilot the fuel consumption rate for the default 747 in FSX is not as accurate as in real life, which is why I theoretically ran out of fuel in the game.

@LlamaNomaNinja I use a joystick, which cost me $20 (it was used). If you are training to be a pilot, you might need to look into more expensive equipment, such as a flight yoke, but if you are using FS to learn the instruments only, any controller will do. I don't recommend the keyboard since it makes controlling the aircraft very difficult.

@DanTheCaptain Agree. My point is that most Verve songs are alternative, which means there would be a smoother, softer, tone compared with regular rock and roll. I myself find my aviation videos to represent that feeling of being relaxed, hence why bitter sweet symphony is a good match for this video.

@beenaneeful I don't know how what models you installed the textures to, but the textures should not affect the cockpit. The textures for the cockpit are located in the panels folder, you should check that for the plane that you installed to.

@MrRudolf997 go to free flight. After you have selected your airport, there is another box called "starting position" and by default "Active Runway" would be selected. You need to click on the box to open the options, and from there, scroll down to select a gate you like.

@MrRudolf997 This is the Deluxe version of FSX. You can start your flight in a gate by choosing the starting position, and then, you can do a full fight, which would include an arrival. Also, you can call ATC if you planned an IFR flight, so ATC would assign you a gate.

@diegodaudt I changed the sim rate, which makes the flight shorter when compared with real life. I did not use the y key. Also, I don't need to be sitting in front of the computer all the time. I just need to be around for take off or landing, and the occasional recording segment.

you must try to get PMDG 747-400 when you start your new beginning, but you must learn how to set the FMC, if you can set the FMC, you can fly without ATC, then you can fly without increasing the sim rate, you can sleep while the autopilot flying...................

@XXplaneflyerXX52 my traffic x only gives you traffic, but does not give you planes you can fly. if you want a plane for yourself, you will need to find one elsewhere. i recommend searching for some great freeware aircraft from sites such as project opensky.
