I'm very, very new w/Dreamweaver & website design (practically training myself). Can somebody please, see if they can find me a "very solid thorough" video(s) tutorial on Dreamweaver CS4 where the tutor literally goes thru each and every single tab in detail (what it is for,when its used & not used, examples of what it is,etc),& eachn' every single item in the down-pull menus (what they are (w/some real examples,what they're for, what they mean, and so forth. I've not seen anything thorough yet.

I was looking to create my own website, and first I tried Joomla and I didn't get very far because the interface is a little complex, next I tried WordPress and again it was hard to customized it exactly how you want..and you need to buy plugins, then I remembered I had Dreamweaver and I found this site..PHEW!!! hey ZE. i found a solution, maybe i can play with the colours in photoshop? if i go into the folder i downloaded the free theme and use those images in photoshop to change colour in :)

I like the spontanous theme, i added it but i dont like the green colour, is there some easy way u can explain or make a tutorial on how u change the colour for example green to yellow instead ;) would be very handy!

@Alexanderstuve Yeah you can. Just go into the CSS and change the background colours and such. If you cant navigate your way around it just let me know and I will try and do a tutorial for you :-)

@hoopgirl245 yes its possible. Basically you would make a te,plate in photoshop, slice it up, and import it as different background images. It's kinda complicated and I plan on making a tutorial but not for a while. I suggest learning html and css first. I have a course on that, you will find it on my channel :D

@sailfish1982 Well there's no real easy way to do it! The person who made the template has a specific style to it and you would have to know what you are doing to edit it. If its not too big of a problem, i'd suggest just leaving it be.

If you want, I will be teaching a full HTML and CSS course within the next couple weeks. Then it will be completely customizable.
