E pensar que estas aeronaves viraram panelas...ou ainda estao por ai como verdadeiros Hulks....Think that this birds turn a pan...or are lost everywhere as a incredible hulk.....
I recentley found a salvaged 707 cockpit in a junkyard and want to identify the aircraft it's from. Does anybody know if Boeing put any kind of production # tag in the cockpit?
wow cool. Love the 707 turbojets. More pollutive than the turbofans etc, but they sound nicer. It looked like the pilot landed the plane a bit late down the runway, but smooth as far as i could tell
I have had the GREAT privilege of travelling aboard Qantas 707's VH-EBA and VH-EBO on the Sydney-Nadi-Honolulu-San Francisco route in 1966, and on Pan American's N414PA Sydney-Singapore in 1970 (BOAC VC-10 0n return). It truly is a beautiful plane, inside and out.
Very interesting...I've got about 2300 hours in the Air Force version of the 707, the KC-135. It was such a classic airplane. How did you get a ride on the cockpit jumpseat?

I like that sound! Thats really a men aircraft. Nothing for gays and women -> They can fly Airbus 320 with mouse-cinema in the cockpit.

I love the sound of this old Boeing 707 & also it seem that this aircraft is heavy because it take lots of time to gain altitude

Oh how I wish you would have kept recording all the way through the roll out !!! There's just NOTHING like the sound of those P&W JT3D's !!!
Just another 30 seconds would have done it...
Otherwise great job !!!

See the copilot full forward on the yoke after reverse? Never saw that before. Love the video and the engines!
madisonelectronic 4 years ago 2
Problem with the 707 landings is that the touchdown speed is very near the takeoff speed. Pushing the yoke in is a way to keep the nose down.

Best plane ever made, nice video!

What does '2 lights on' spoken by the co-pilot refer to after touchdown? Great in cockpit vid of a 707 though.

I think it's an indication that the reverser doors are open. could be spoilers up though, not reaaally sure.
