@ninjadragonblade You should NEVER use auto. It completely defeats the purpose of the game. If you play auto, the game's almost playing itself.

But yeah, on the higher difficulties you'll get your ass kicked on auto.

Question how are you charging your gun? i can see this is not automatic, but its sooo hard to charge and operate sword ... and maxact at the same time? joypad or keyboard?

joypad, you just need to change 2 buttons, the gun button u putting on devil trigger and the devil trigger on gun.

@buyiuo Actualy i played it on keyboard and on ds3, and considering key combinations, keyboar is giving more options (you can press more keys simuntanously) but yeah movement will always be better on joypad. Hence my question, cuz doing maxact and grabing enemy and fighting on default control scheme is imposible.

Credo is so much fun to fight. My favourite boss from the game, there is no waiting for him to do anything and he doesn't jump away from it's just pure non-stop all out fighting. Nero while not as cool as Dante you are still cool good sir.

pratice. u know the button that charges your ex gauge. same thing but u have to time it. when u are about to land a hit or finish a hit you press that button. u have to have timing skills if u want to use it.

To sum up: no dmg taken (+), nice music (+), style (sss and u caught every credo's spear) (+).

Personally I find kinda hard making "omgzonk" combos with nero (3 weapons including hand?). To me, he's only brutal force. It's much easier to make flashy combos with dante and so called pro players can think if they jump around on trickster sometimes changing styles and weapons, they play better than you. They're wrong. They say you don't have style. IT is your style and you had the courage to show it

I'm not saying he's on automatic but he can prove to people he's not on automatic if he uses the move"split" several times in succesion. Automatic almost does 'High Roller', 'Streak', 'Shuffle' or 'Caliber' like 9/10 times but rarely 'Split'( plus its not like its hard to use Exceed but in Turbo mode I wouldn't know since I have the XBOX 360 for DMC4)

You can charge the Blue Rose while you attack. Just hold the Shoot button and smash the sword attack. If your on the ps3 set the button to R2 or something.

And, in the right hands, Dante is (perhaps even literally) 10 times better than Nero. But, even still, I personally prefer Nero.
