  • silly car drivers need to pay more attention and look out for bikers!!!

  • It looked like it was the bikers fault, he seemed to have either drifted over or tried to change lane without a lifesaver.

  • Car drivers fault, driving to close and two fast, you should all ways give the driver in frount plenty of room, this is a clasic example of what happens when you don't.

  • @b57ecv No, the biker was changing lanes to get into the lay-by, crossing from the outside lane.

See YouTube clip - Police Camera Action, Motorbike Special (part 2 of 2), the biker is interviewed.

  • @lollygaggle <<<<Should have top comment.

  • i didn't know Dwight Schrute's youtube channel was called keepfit49

  • Bike's fault.

Pulled in front of the van; which was braking to avoid the bike.

  • the car was going too fast and the bike didnt do a lifesaver check, both at fault, id say 70% bikers fault 30% cars fault. I hope the biker is ok, its horrible to see a fellow rider knocked off

  • seems like the biker cut off the driver

  • No Lifesaver glance!

  • I used to ride a 125cc motorcycle for 3 yrs for economical commute to work and this is a reason I got on a 600cc. That much needed extra power to maintain distance from impatient car drivers who's always a second behind me makes a difference. To all car drivers, please keep your eyes on the road and focus on the safety of all road users. Not all motorbike riders are nuisance or show offs. Most of us motorcyclist ride to work or for a living. I ride because of demanding work and family schedule.

  • To be fair the mini van was in the left lane and the biker cut into the left hand right infront of the van at 0:10

  • That man from the motorbike was on the TV the other day, he said that he loved riding motorbikes but from that crash he was scared to get on a motorbike ever again. :(

  • motorcycle switching to left lane on low speed and checking oncoming cars.

    at fault

  • @tazdevil875 i watched it several times as well and it was a factor of both vehicle operators... the cager was going a lot faster than any of the other cars and if you look the van driver is over on the right side of the lane about to make a lane change...

now the biker doesnt even look back.. there is no head check and also slowing down while lane changing on a bike is a no no...

speeding van meets non alert biker = video.

  • stupid english van driver

  • Michael Shumacher ! fodaa, mau sustoo ..

  • Have watched this several times ... and looks to me as if biker was at fault .... look at his approach from right ... looks like he moved across from right lane into left lane and slowing to move in front of vehicle on hard shoulder ..... and before anyone goes off on one ... I am a biker myself , ride a Cbr 1100 ........

  • yea its a 307 estate. clearly rubber necking at the old bill!

  • second copper wasn't really concerned as the first?

  • Minivans should be banned period.... except the Bosozoku styled ones =D

  • when you learn to drive, if you continue to do everything the DVLA teach you and tell you to do, it's very unlikely that you will ever have an accident, simply because as much as many people may hate the DVLA, the driving standards are such that they teach you to anticipate nearly every type of situation that could arise. Which is why on a motorcycle they teach mirror, signal, shoulder check, maneuver for changing lanes. But like 99% of all drivers on the road, they do their own thing after test

  • police, camera, action legend show

  • @akaknocksville you fuckin retard

  • @akaknocksville your mother sucks cop dicks in columbia for burritos.

  • @Rabsputin WELL ATLEAST I KNOW WHATS FOR LUNCH THEN !!

  • At 10-11 you can see it was the bikers fault for changing in the lane without yielding .

  • @MrMotorcross125 Why would the car be indicating? It only starts to move to avoid the bike

  • Also in regards to the police, woman is running over to assist, man clearly has hand on his radio, getting ambulance to the scene!

  • Everybody seems to be blaming the driver, the rider was at an angle, pulling across the front of the car clearly hard on the brakes in fast moving traffic, it looks like the rider is trying to get into the lay-by and it went wrong for him. That's the rider at fault, not the driver. It's hard to tell given this video but that's what it looks like.

I'm not against bikes I'm in the process of buying one, but in this case, the rider looks to be at fault

  • @SuperGreenough Id have said it looked as if the car was changing lanes, not the bike. The bike wouldn't have spun around or be thrown through the air like that if the BIKE had hit the car.

I've been lucky enough not to have come off my motorcycle yet, but i've had several near-misses. 1 or 2 are down to me, but nearly all of them have been down to the driver of the car in questions fault, not mine.

  • @DiesEtIrae look again closely, the bike's pulling across the car whilst slowing down, the car probably looks to be changing lanes to avoid hitting the bike.

  • Connard de voiture, il mérite une balle dans la tête.

  • at least no one can blame this on the biker. anyway that looked like it fucking hurt

  • look at that pig just walk up ther what a fucking asshole

  • @jerrya27

The Police Officer was walking calmly and giving information about the location, accident while making his way to the biker.

The female Police Officer was already going to give assistance.

So both of them running down without giving information to their HQ would have been the "asshole" thing to do.

Would you have sprinted down there or calmly relayed all available information to your radio control room, ensuring there were no mistakes about where to send assistance or ambulance?.

  • @READ5458 still think the cop took his sweet time walking over their they were stopped already meaning hq knew were they were ....

  • Il est conn, la moto se deport sur la gauch elle mes pa son clignotant :\

  • the bald cop didnt want to run incase it messed up his hair

  • Wow... i love how the man cop takes his time.

  • the police women runs and the man just walks there casually like all good bro sweet as nothings happened just a motorcycle accident he's probably going to die

  • @keru605 look at his right hand, think what he's holding there and what he's doing throuth it to get the ambulance to the accident scene...

  • minivans shouldnt exist

  • Yeah...I'm a biker and he got it wrong on that day...cut in to close after the overtake..looks like he was after that next turn-off coming up quick....he never made it!

  • just because of this video you cant stereotype car drivers being bad, and you cant blame the rider of the bike, everyone just needs to watch the fuck out when they are on the roads, and shit like this wouldnt happen.

  • stupid car drivers.RESPECT THE MOTORCYCLES ALWAYS AS WE RESPECT THE FUCKIN 4 WHEEL BOXES

  • @touf8 There are plenty of examples of bikers with more balls than brains that show nothing but disrespect on the public roads. Unfortunately for them they either end up busting their ass on the pavement and tearing their shit up as they crawl away in utter humiliation or they end up dead because of their own stupidity. In fact, I rather enjoy watching them bust their shit up and crawl away in humiliation hoping their insurnace is cancelled and they lose their licenses. morons.

  • at 0:22 the policeman is just walking casual not caring about what has just happend

the police lady is like oh f***k !!!!!

  • @LAMIPODO lol, like he sees that shit everyday or something

  • @LAMIPODO he's a Minivan driver...

  • @LAMIPODO pretty sure he's talking into his radio, no doubt requesting an ambulance.

  • @LAMIPODO Well she was aready running and he had to report. Its hard to do it when you are sprinting. Just opinion

  • @LAMIPODO I wonder why are you so fucking retarded and why you have 10 thumbs up

He is informing about what just happened by radio don't you see his right forearm rised you stupid retarded scum?

Low IQ people like you make me hate humanity

  • @LAMIPODO he is talking on the radio

  • @adambarker96 yeah, but he can talking in this radio while hes running

  • @LAMIPODO Actually I think he's radioing for more police and ambulance to be brought to the seen, which is easier to do and be understood when walking, rather than running and out of breath.

  • @Moonshine12 Agreed.

  • This is why I don't get a motorcycle...I don't trust anyone, I almost get hit in my car every time I go out

  • if you look carefully it looks like the motorcycle cut the other driver off , always look over your shoulders and check your mirror again before switching lanes.

  • Biker changed into minivan's lane... thats what it looks like.

  • @ueoaoeu watch again hes driving in the one lane and minvan just crashes in back of him/her and look how fast the minivan is going...

  • @willnesssgt lol this is a fast road. Yea sure, commonly when you see a cop car parked on the hard shoulder you start to overspeed. It does make a sense...

  • @123MIURA not every one sees everything, onetime i was driving with my brother and this person was driving in front of us going so slow so my brother decided to overtake and a week later he got a speeding fine. May not be related to the video but if you dont see cop cars you tend to go fast anyway.

  • @willnesssgt LOL, not if you glance at your speedometer and have some modicum of self control. You mean people are not in control of their cars?

  • @tubernation1 why do you think people get speeding tickets, because they don't have self control. They always try to get to work that little faster, not everyone is perfect you know. Don't forget people tend to use their phone allot while driving, can you look at a speedo and watch the road while doing a text message at the same time? Its all these little things that cause accidents so half the time people aren't in control of their cars at all to busy on their phones.

  • Should have had a Reevu helmet on. would have been able to get out of the way as he would have seen the cadger not stopping

  • ha funny thing is, it's obvious it's the motorcyclist's fault. I drive a motorcycle and am on the van driver's side, idiot cut in front of him.

  • The woman runs frantically over while the gentlemen is walking :p

  • the amazing thing is, he survived this with just a scratch on the helmet

  • Nope wrong.

As I said, even the rider has admitted that he was at fault.

He overtook and cut in too early.

  • @londonbill100 If he had just overtaken, and 'cut in' he would be going FASTER than the van!! So how on earth would the van hit him from behind, unless the van put on a major burst of speed?

And then it *still* would have been the van's fault!!

I don't see how this could ever have been the motorcyclists fault.

  • @minnsminns as i can see it defo wasnt .. car was too bloody nosey lookin at wot the police was doin ...car fault all the way ..

  • @minnsminns You can clearly see the motorcyclist turning to the left, that's when the car just hit him.

It's obviously the motorcyclist fault. We can't talk about the speed or whatever. The only thing we see are the 2 lanes and this video shows obvious that it is not the drivers fault.

  • @exlHD i dont know where u are from, but in australia, whenever there is a nose to tail accident, the person at the back is at fault. regardless of what is happening in front of you, if you are at the back it is your responsibility to make sure you have enough room and time to avoid an accident.

  • @londonbill100 yep, did look like the bike cut into the lane right in front of the peugeot, you can see the bike moving across the lane when he got hit...

  • The guy is from Devon and the Police quite often play this video on their stands.

The guy also speaks on it and openly admits it was his mistake.

I know we want to think that every collision is the result of myopic car drivers but the reality is that sometimes, it's the stupid riders fault.

  • @londonbill100 Highly disagree. The van sped up and slammed into the back of him. He didn't even notice he hit him til a few seconds later.

  • People need to look a bit more closely.

    It was the riders fault.

He cut in, in front of the car driver who didn't stand a chance.

No charges were bought against the car driver because it wan't his fault.

This idiot shoud never have been allowed near a bike, nor should anyone else too dim to see what really happened.

  • @londonbill100 it doesn't matter; the minivan was clearly going faster then everyone else on the road

  • lol i know the first thing the car driver said when he got out...

    "i didn't see you"

    fucking cagers!

  • Comment removed

  • @jimbo80982 lol, unfortunately thats the truth, i bet 99.999% accidents with bikes/cars involved, the first thing you hear after the crash is "i didnt see you", and im sure they mean it, being on the phone or radio or someshit else its difficult to pay attention to the road.

  • @Fhanity lol so true. People are too distracted in a car. with a bike you are a lot more focused , if not totally focused , on what your doing , and when people say the chances of you dieing in a crash are much higher on a motorbike and then i just think to myself well the only real reason most of us crash is because and person over the age of 17 gets a car license and it just seems they arent focusing on what they are doing! Its like , how the hell did you pass your test?!

  • Comment removed

  • this is the thing I'v noticed watchin' these types of accidents, it's not the bike rider for the most part that's acting like an idiot or showing off, it's the fuckin' idiot car/truck drivers that are the problem, 95% of the time, this guy was tooling along and this asswipe comes out of nowhere and plows in2 him, insane!

  • oh my God... ''/

  • The bike was changing lane and awkwardly but why? The bike engine may have cut out and the rider has thought its safer to ge to the side of the road asap rather than go slower, without indication to following road users (ie no break lights) on the fastast lane (in the UK that is the lane to the right). I've had a bike engine cut out on a motorway and luckily there were not many vehicles about. If it had been busy it would have been high risk whatever I chose to do.

  • stupid guy not looking if there is something coming while switching lane....

  • Minivan drivers are Minivan drivers no matter where they are in the world. They're shit behind the wheel except in Southern California they drive 95mph with a cup-o-joe in one hand and the cell in the other and the kiddies in the back screaming. I spend more time in my rear view than looking ahead cause I don't feel like getting a MiniVan Mommy up my exhaust pipe.

You minivan drivers can hoo and haa about what's this and if that had happened, blah, blah, blah,.....reality = YOU ALL SUCK!!!!!!!

  • @zippyfred AHAHAHAHA dumbass cyclist got pwnt!

  • @zippyfred

I ride too, I know that we need eyes not only in the back of our heads but on the sides also to survive with the "clown drivers" out there.

but i also can tell by watching this vid that the rider changed lane in font of the van (by the way he was coming across the lane)

we cant blame every one else for our action(s) unfortunately on a bike a micro-second of distraction can be disaster, even fatal.

  • @zippyfred This car is a Peugeot 307 Station Wagon. So this isn't a minivan

  • @zippyfred if only you knew what really happens...

0:11 IMHO it looks like the biker changed the lane unexpectedly, but of course you know better

  • @zippyfred that really wasn't a minivan, i think it was a peugeot 307 station wagon

  • @Blade4613 Agreed! It is a Peugeot 307SW, not a van

  • @zippyfred Dude, it's not a minivan.

  • @zippyfred bull shit, i used to drive a minivan before getting a g35 and a r6, and i never sucked at driving

  • That idiot biker changed the lane

  • @rexmoose ... and then started slowing down!

  • Zabiłbym kurwę, co nie patrzy w lusterka!

  • lol gta 4

  • its the car drivers fault for not looking at the road u drive a car u get lazy simple as that ride a motor bike alone an not drive a car ull be evin more safe

  • This is the bikers fault because he should have been going the fastest on the road, then when it's time for his emergency "pull over" he can then safely do unsafe lane changes. Your supposed to signal for some distance or time before each move. He swerved and slowed down, that's two against him in this case. Had he been speeding up across the line then slowing as he exited the lane off to the shoulder, per his emergency, this would have been avoided. The other driver could have stopped.

  • Both drove faster....motorrider sees the police car...brakes and gets hit by the car from behind who didnt see the police car...

  • THAT FAMILY CAR DRIVER GOT ARRESTED AND WAS IN PRISON AFTER HITTING THE BIKER. WAS THAT ON THE A30??? IN DEVON.

  • compare the speed of that car to the others, damn in the left lane?

  • Was he ok?

  • HAHAHA!!! BOING!!!

  • It was the bikers fault. He moves across in front of the people carrier without checking. There is a reason its called a "lifesaver".

This was on Police Camera Action and explained in full.

  • looks to me as if the car driver was to busy looking at what the police were up to and didn't see the biker!. i was postioned at a roundabout once on my gsxr750 waiting for traffic to pass and some woman went straight into the back of me and the force threw me into the middel of the roundabout yet after she said she was so sorry when she got home she told her husband it was my fault !

when i passed the woman a few mins before the roundabout i noticed she was applying make-up! some people huh!

  • @019208237 what a stupid bitch i hate those sorta people how did you know she told her husband it was your fault?

  • @masterquadbiker because her husband phoned my house later that evening regarding what happened because she was in shock. he said she said it was my fault because i was speeding yet i was positioned at the roundabout for a long time before she hit me(it was on a good friday so very busy) . no one stoped to say are you ok, people just slowed down and had a good look and carryed on so i had no witnesses.she said sorry it was my fault i didn't see you and told her husband a lie when she got home.

  • @019208237 what a bitch theres no honest people in this world anymore

  • @019208237 yeah they annoy me to my cousins been knock off his bike more than once all arseholes they need to learn to drive

  • What a stupid fuck in the car !

  • This was repeated on police, camera, action last night. I cant see by looking at this how it could possibly be the motorbikes fault and the programme confirmed this. It was caused by lack of concentration of the car driver. The biker was indicating that he was turning going into the lay-by. The car driver wasnt looking. He was saved by his bike helmet which he showed on the programme and he has not been on a bike since.

  • Clearly the biker is at fault the angle he is in, that close to the front of the van shows he turned into the vans lane without looking. That's also why he flew to the left because the van hit his rear tire which was angled about 30 degrees in front. I drive a 2005 gsxr, was hit at a stop two days ago.

  • @Perfect2ooL No it was the cars fault becuse of laci of concentration and driving too fast. (it was repeated on police, camera, action last night) If he had been in the middle lane and the car driver had wanted to overtake him he would have had to pull out and overtake on the right as it is illegal to undertake on the left.

  • @Perfect2ooL if you look, the van is speeding in the left hand lane, and the van switched to the right hand lane as the bike was moving to the left lane. if the van was not speeding in the firstplace the crash would of been avoided

  • @jbshadow1

Van was not moving to the right side lane... He tried at the very last second, avoid hitting the bike and he ended up in that lane but he was not moving to there.

And I dont think he was speeding.

Not enough video to make these kind of judgements but the cars all go at the same speed and a few slow down and the bike went slow and moved lanes and gave the perspective that the car was going fast but the car is the same speed as everyone else.

  • I think all car drivers should be killed

I think all motorcyclists should be killed.

    Fuck you all fucking cunts

  • Clearly the car drivers fault, however you only have to type in "motorbike" and you see all manner of dangerous and illegal riding on youtube. I was unfortunate to be the only witness of a fatal motorclcle accident, i tried in vain to save his life for 20 mins till the paramedics arrived and said he was "beyond it". I think about it every time i get overtaken by a bike. Save the madness for the track, and make a bike licence a pre requisite for a car licence.

  • i love how the man just casually walks to the scene of the accident whilst the woman runs frantically. mr cool :D

  • Ouch!

I suspect the white vehicle was speeding (it came into view awfully fast) and the cyclist underestimated that as he was changing lanes. I always assume someone MIGHT be speeding and carefully judge if it is safe to change lanes by hawk eyeing the mirrors. The cycle rider may have assumed since police cars were right there no one would be foolish enough to speed at that spot. Think again. Some people don't slow for anything.

  • fuck me i like that 2nd cop ah ill just walk up there by that time the bike riders bled 2 death RUN YA BALD CUNT

  • I have just had an e mail from a guy in Israel who said his rearview helmet has just saved his life from a similar situation, he was stuck at a set of traffic lights and saw the truck racing up behind. If this guy had seen this idiot he may have been able to make some avasive action. I know I feel safer with My Reevu lid, after seeing this I really know why I need one

  • There's no way to tell whose fault is it by this angle

  • I ride fast and I'm scared of having to break fast or bumbing into something losing control, or worst. I ride slow and I am scared of this, I live in NYC this is very possible with young kids. I love to ride, but the silent country is the only true place for it.

  • Now, having watched this a few times, I am not convinced the biker was even changing lanes; he might have just been over the right hand side of the lane to make room for the car pulling out into trafic.

  • looks like that was the fault of the car

  • @ PokerPlum in the UK undertaking on the left is illegal. the middle and outside lanes are overtaking lanes. The bike had right of way. The reason there was an accident was because two people were careless at once. both the biker and the car driver are to blame. I think the lane system in the uk in the main is ignored and misunderstood. I ride a bike and I don't move into lanes unless I know there is notining proceeding into my path. Don't peg it up to a slip road on the inside either!

  • Notice how people in usa stop to help. been watchingvids from japan, etc. not many ever seem to stop to help. In us, sstop immediately!

  • Because we cannot see a few more metres to the right we cannot clearly state weather the driver or the biker was at fault. the cops saw it they can but this video doesnt proove anything... the bike could have just jumped in front or the car could have been speeding up on the left .. we just cant tell from this video. there are plenty of different reasons or accusations we can make up but the truth cant be found here unless the ppl are all interviewed. !! :D

  • I'm sorry but bikers can't keep jumping onto some moral high horse as if they're constantly the innocent victims of drivers. I've nearly had accidents with impatient bikers on country roads overtaking while doing 80. You're also much harder to see than any other road vehicle, some of you need to stop wearing black and get some fluorescent clothing when you're on the road.

  • WOW! person in the car is the stupidest driver!

the dumbass in the van was trying to speed up to go around the bike and ended up hitting him,

  • THINK BIKE? BIKE THINK!!!

  • @leeeroy82 This is why Bikers need all the help we can give.

  • If a car hits you from behind in 99.9% of insurance payouts it's the person who drove into you that's to blame regardless of weather you change lane, direction ect ??

  • Its a shame that The REARVIEW HELMET hadn't been invented then, he may have been able to get out of the way,

I am pleased I have one I would have spotted that idiot.,

  • the motorcyclist did change lane, and has some responsibility to what happened, but the the greatest culprit by far here is the minivan driver which was speeding like if he was on a racetrack

  • stfu guys. its a dam video. and we dont care if ur dad is a truck driver. congratz we dont give a rats ass

  • you clearly see that silver car was rubber necking that police car rather than watching whats in front of him....my dad is a truck driver and i see that far too often whenever i go with him...add that to the fact that motorcycles are nearly invisible to most cars...definitely the cars fault!! as a motorcyclist myself ive witnessed it...car meets you at intersection, you have right of way and make direct eye contact with him...still he pulls out in front of you...lucky i ride too damn slow

  • i recon, the white polo pulls out.( looked dodgy as soon as i saw it) @0.04 causing red fiesta, clio, micra? to brake @ 0.09. MC slows for red fiesta @0.11 but silver car behind him doesn't.- impact- Note after impact lane 2 empty. MC does appear to be changing lane. Cus of Police maybe? Silver rammer don't notice MC moving from lane 2 on his right cus he watchin cops, to his left just at that moment. Chain reaction. Always the worst accident makers as situation changes so quickly. recon ?

  • wow!

  • the bike definatly drifted into the left lane but if u look at the woman rozza she runs to him as fast as she can but the lazy male rozzas like, cba with this lol.

  • It looks like its the MC's fault at first, but if you look at it again, you clearly see the minivan is going way too fast. Prob distracted by the police activity. It's hard to tell if the MC had his turn signal on, but he didn't seem to be driving recklessly. In fact, his lane change seemed very controlled and slow. I'm a biker and know this to be true, people seem to always blame the MC if there is an accident. Not all of us drive recklessly and its not always our fault.

  • i never follow close to motocycles like that..i would never live with myself if i ran em over lol

  • this is what happens when people are too intrested in what the police are doing

  • no this is what happens when you tailgate and get distracted, thatswhy there is a 2 second distance rule

  • if you read my commment correctly you would understand that i was on about people getting distracted by the police therefore not looking at the vehicle infront causing a collision....

  • @bmwfan4lyfe Actually, if you watch closely, he was pulling over to the shoulder. He might have had a problem.

  • bike didnt drift in front of mini -van , the mini-van did a pit manuver ,and the mini van was tailgating

  • Bike drifted into the minivans lane.

  • I can't help but notice across the top of the police video is says the "MAN." LOL.

  • Watched this video a few times...

The motorcycle was changing from right lane to left lane. The car running up from behind can't stop quick enough and tried to pull away to avoid the accident but it was too late.

  • i think the car that hit the mc was looking at the scene where the cops are standing.

this is common occurence when there were stops or accident on the roadside.

most drivers tend to ogle at the scene and not on the road ahead. better pay attention on the road ahead for safety.

  • @eddieochocinco fuckin rubberneckers >=[

  • This guy is just walking XD

  • That is scary. The MC rider slows and gives room for the police car like he is supposed to and rewarded with a van hitting him at a 20 MPH+ speed advantage (ooh! pretty lights!) and that SUV probably running over him to avoid the bike in the road.

asclarice, just so you know, I don't tailgate on my MC. ABS equipped cars can stop _very_ quickly! Space is life.

  • look @ dat bitch run!!!!

  • It is a shame this guy didn't have a Reevu helmet he would have seen the knacker behind him if he had.

  • Comment removed

  • Surely plod should have pulled out to block the lane?

  • the second cop might have had a bit more urgency about him if it was one of his family on the bike

  • there was no need, the first officer applies first aid, the second takes charge of the scene and summons paramedics and other units on his radio. It's important not to panic in a crisis.

  • dam dude hop the biker is ok that looked nasty

  • Cagers suck.

  • second officer should be looking the other way to see what is coming and slowing down traffic , basic approach to first aid

  • Bullshit. Most bikers are car drivers as well and are always aware about other drivers. Any road rage incidents and the biker is highly likely to come off worst. Even so, how can you possibly say that this crash was the bikers fault?!!
