I love listening to you play.  I'm working on the same version of this song right now and it is tricky. Especially the sixth variation on the theme (4:16 - 4:37)! By the way, to the one who asked where he or she could find this music, Palmer-Hughes Book 10 has a good version. ISBN 0-7390-1293-2

The boy is playing a very difficult piece of music and very well at that. I am sure you could not even attempt it. This is a grade 10 piece of music. We need to encourage younger players not criticize them. Unless of course you are an authority on the subject.

i mean, he should play the rigth more floating, legato, and the left hand staccato!!!!!!. i've nerver wanted to encourage him, i've just wanted to give him a tip, that helps him to make himself better..

I am currently playing this piece for my grade 8 exam for piano accordion, it is so much harder on a piano accordion than on a button accordion, especially in variation 1 and 4, the keys are so much further apart.

The accordion in this video has a Belgian bass system (these are fairly unusual)..

So has mine (a Maugein C-system). Haven't got very far with it yet.

Any idea where I can find a tutor book for those?
