  • Love these guys, specially the bands with only 3 members which seem to put out the best sound!

  • Fucking amazing album

  • You are the sameee olddd trippp. Love this song.

  • censor, censor! check out the music video i made for this song :)

    watch?v=juy1zhC_IJk&feature=channel_video_title

  • what a terrific song! what a sexy voice!

  • UHHHAAAAA yEAAAAA Who's better baby? Who i ask..............

  • Fucking love this one. Totally one of the best on the new CD.

  • I own all previous Chevelle albums and IMO, not digging this stuff too much. I was a die hard for Wonder What's Next, This Type of Thinking, and SiFi...this is kinda bland coming from Chevelle...IMO. Sounds like alot of stuff on the radio :(

  • Same old trip...same old Chevelle

  • Their sister sings backup vocals on this song =)

  • this is a good album, I do like this song a lot I listen to it nearly every morning on my way to work with the volume WAY UP!

  • 3 reasons to wear condoms...

  • @canaydemedian

    you have two exact clones?

  • @Polska0009 nope, look at the dislike bar

  • liked this one,..but still not enough to buy the album

  • @xjgseven im with ya on that one. I just listened to every song and if im being honest, I only liked 2 songs. Sci Fi Crimes and this album were just not edgy enough. They shouldve kept going with that drop tuned more aggressive sound that they achieved with This Type Of Thinking and Vena Sera.

  • @thefallingdream I did go ahead and buy it after Arise and Revenge caught my ear and overall I like the album. Was tired of listening to Sci-Fi crimes over and over,...heheh

  • the red was the song that inspired me to teach myself drums. as far as my skills got is pretty fucking impressive and i think their drummer needs to come up with some new shit

  • We did a cover of this amazing song you can check it out in my count

Chevelle is the best band ever YEAH

  • this album was okay....Scifi Crimes was ok as well....i honestly think Vena Sera was their best

  • @Ralenissocold You're right, Vena Sera was their best

  • @mewzikluvr101 Really? I thought this type of thinking and wonder whats next were best and Sci Fi crimes was good. Hats off to the Bull is awesome but Vena Sera... That is one album I never liked no matter how many times I listened to it.

  • @Benchimusprime OH well I just really liked Vena Sera but I like this type of thinking and wonder what's next is after vena sera in terms of favorites. :P

  • Is Chevelle capable of making a bad song?

  • @slimshady0297 Nope, not a chance.

  • Also the solo in this song is not that bad considering the fact that the singer is the only guitarist in the band i think.

  • This song and ruse are my favs

  • This song hit me like tha bull on the cover of this album luv it!!! Rock on Chevelle rock on!

  • Riff reminds me of This Type of Thinking, specifically The Clincher.

  • There is just something about this song that makes it very addictive..

  • Listen to this when your high........it's the best song on planet earth.

  • @BW777999 i would highly suggest listening to the meddler in your current state. listen to the guitar strums

  • I know many will disagree, but I dont feel this is a worthy single to be released. I think 'Revenge' would be the best next single from the album. thats just me though.

  • @robhartjr1993 Either that song or songs such as "Envy" and "Arise" would be a wise choice.

  • Waffle friendship misfits? 1:15

  • @RoyalWaste "AWFUL, Friendship, Misfits". Read the lyrics, please. Thank you.

  • @PatPatrick01 in the lyrics you put youre the same old trip, nut its you bought the same old trip. just wanna correct an awesome song.

  • @RoyalWaste it does say same old trip.

  • I have listened to every song from their previous albums thousands of times ... i am going to enjoy catching this album up with those numbers ; )

  • This album sure has some great choruses and basswork. My only gripe is that is that there aren't as many memorable riffs as previous albums.

  • Chevelle did an awesome job on this album. This song is great! ROCK ON CHEVELLE!!

  • Is this a bonus track?

  • @wonderwall135 no its track 02

  • @wonderwall135 ... please tell me you bought the album... If not, you are forbidden from listening to Chevelle on youtube until you do. I do not approve sir. "fellow chevelle nerd" indeed...

  • @Redblitz87 I haven't yet. 'm probably going to download it off itunes.

  • their sister sings really good! I love this album sooo much!!!!!!

  • WHO ARE THE TWO FUCKERS THAT DISLIKED THIS SHIT???? HEATHENS!!!! BURN IN THE HELL!!!!!!!

  • @LMCMInterloper LMAO

  • saw them on tuesday and it sounded better live than the album IMO. oh yeah and this is my favorite of the album :]

  • revenge is my favorite. I think this is their best album behind this type of thinking... panic prone is still my favorite by them

  • I love how Chevelle is influenced from Tool and The Cure. Plus the album is kick ass.

  • @Superdrummerboy92 TOOL? I thought I read in a magazine after they released their debut, "Wonder What's Next" that Helmet was their main inspiration. Huh. I'll say this: Any band that writes three-to-four-minute songs should NOT say that they are inspired by Tool. Just Sayin'.

  • @LMCMInterloper that makes no sense dude.. Chevelle sounds very similar to Tool in many different ways. They don't have to write a 10 min song to consider themselves inspired by TooL.. Chevelle is also controlled by their label while TooL is not, hence only 11 songs per album

  • Beautiful...

  • I like the addition of Pete's sister to this song

  • Sounds like he says WAFFLE FRIENDSHIP at 1:15

  • not feeling this album, been a fan for years, but i can only grasp 3 maybe 4 of these tracks

  • They are considering this song for their 2nd single...but quite frankly the other two considerations would be much better, ( The Meddler and Hats off to the Bull) but thats just my opinion :)

  • Sounds great, won't get even close to Breach Birth.

  • This is as close as I can get lol

    "Censor, Censor me

And censor, censor a friend of mine

    Time won't keep us anymore

And it's the usefulness of letting go

    Your perfect plan has come and gone like the nuke;

    This centuries benefits

They say, you are the same old trip

So we're the same old race

You are the same old trip"

  • @andorvaelis It's *no friend of mine* and *gone against the nuclear centuries benefit*

  • @TyMan1229 i think it's actually "like the nuclear century's benefits"

  • @cdudeNYR I have the iTunes LP so and thats what it says on the lyrics but who knows, maybe they fucked up

  • Comment removed

  • actually everyone mostly says the meddler is the best

  • This is by far their most mature album to date.

  • Comment removed

  • lets just hope that youtubbe doesnt delete this like the others

  • I've liked every chevelle album so far this one is wicked as well.

  • Funeral For A Friend brought me here

  • yall are givin unfair judgements too early... i didnt like face to the floor when i first heard it now i cant go a day without listening to it. Their songs take some time to get to like because of how different each song is from one another. Wait til the album comes out and youve listened to the cd in its entirety 4 or 5 times before you make biased opinions..

  • This is one of their past albums...period! Every song is really good. Pinata is just an amazing song!! you dont know shit PatPatrick01

  • @ClemsonC17 Please don't judge me B/C I have a different barometer of judging good albums than you do, sir. Thank you.

Oh, and BTW, I think you mean 'best' there, not 'past'.

  • @PatPatrick01 correct...i meant best.....Vena Sera is my fav by them, but this one is up there

  • I really like this song except for when he says "same old Trriieeeepp""

  • @RoyalWaste C'MON, the chorus is the best part of this song!!! ;-D

LOL, anyway, This album is their worst offering yet, even worse than "This Type Of Thinking Could Do Us In", IMO. Like I said in the description, this is the only song I could get into, apart from maybe "Face To The Floor". But the other songs I just could not get into.

  • @PatPatrick01 Really? Dude, I love this album so far. Although, I have not heard any of the other songs besides "Face to The Floor" and "Same old Trip". What are the others like?

  • @RoyalWaste The rest wasn't as "Catchy", so to speak, as past albums were. I judge good albums on how catchy the songs are, how melodic the choruses are. And "Hats Off To The Bull" just didn't have that melodic touch that made their past albums at the very least halfway listenable to me. Hope that clears that up.

  • @PatPatrick01 This Type of Thinking Could Do Us In wasn't a bad album. Their worst was Sci Fi Crimes. This one isn't looking too good either. Didn't like this song or Face to the Floor.

  • @dlhouse18 Really? I would hardly call songs like "Jars", "Letter From A Thief", "Highland's Apparition", and "Shameful Metaphors" 'their worst offering'. My personal favorite Chevelle album is a tie between their debut, "Wonder What's Next" (Can't beat "The Red", BY FAR their greatest song EVER) and "Vena Sera" ("Sleep Walking Elite" and "Delivery", the bonus tracks off that album, should have been on the album to begin with).

  • @PatPatrick01

Shameful Metaphors and Jars happen to be one of my favorite songs from them. Other than that, the album has a different style from them that I don't enjoy. Wonder What's Next is BY FAR their greatest album Chevelle has ever produced. And the funny thing is I don't like Send the Pain Below the most successful single released from it. Songs like "Vitamin R", "Get Some", "Tug of War", "Panic Prone", and "The Clincher" are all some of their best work.

  • @dlhouse18

off of This Type of Thinking. Which I'd say is their 2nd best album followed by Vena Sera.

  • @PatPatrick01 their debut was point #1

  • @Kudblythe3 I meant MAJOR-LABEL debut. Thanks, anyway.

  • @PatPatrick01 no problem i guess -.-

  • @dlhouse18 This Type of Thinking and Wonder What's Next were superb albums imo. Just listen to To Return, which is a hugely underrated song. Come to think of it, the album is full of them

  • @dlhouse18 i think their best album is by far wonder whats next, then this typ of thinking. point #1, vena sera then scifi crimes. this one is in last haha

  • its been on here but it got taken down, but ill enjoy this while its still here :)
