thats cause a person weighing 140 pounds falling from the deck(75 meters above water) would accelerate to 85mph before hitting the surface of water. At that speed its like hitting a wall. Internal organ damage from water going up the rectum, broken bones, knocked out, all kinds of bad stuff.

That was only 2 seconds from top to bottom maybe 2.5.  So it was probably around 50 or 60 feet. An 80 foot jump into water kills you, so it was under that.

It's true. The bridge is 25 meter high! We have another one which is 5-7 meters high, and to jump to the water from that bridge is enjoyment for kids... Not many years ago, a young was dead jumping this bridge... Very high, I promise you... (Maybe too far to come you here... It's in the Basque Country (between) Spain and France...
