This is when Mobb Deep had my respect. After they signed with G Unit they lost it all. But i understand considering in this song they clearly state "time waits for no man the streets grow worst/fuck the whole world kid my money comes first" :P
@Licrobennet dude that wasnt even funny this track right here isnt for dancing especially since most white people cant dance. this the track you got to feel its lyrics deepness not some dancing shit weirdo.
@hispanicguy1 lol, you hear their last album. I mean, looove mobb deep, don't get me wrong, but you won't find any mainstream hip hop that's even half decent anymore lol
Why don't all of you fucking toolbags shut up. it's the internet. pay attention to the great song playing above, and stop tryin to show that your dicks big online.. faggots.
Classic shit.... and I'm an ol skool grandpa ! The flute and violins sample is the intro of "I'm Tired Of Giving" by The Spinners, Just playing my 45's, ran across it by accident 12 yrs ago.
@tompointzero fuck what Pac said, everything he says aint the truth... They had a feud, that shits old... Mobb Deep realer than real, what more do you want!
And yes I agree! I like Kid Cudi! Yeah I know he's one of those faggots who dress like faggots! But he speaks his mind! Some of his shit is dumb! But some shit that he has, has meaning to it! Listen to it maybe you can understand!
..So they SOLD OUT! Who gives fuck about money! That's what's wrong with this bullshit system! Hip Hop doesn't mean money! Does it? No! As long as you love making music then who gives a fuck about money! Get out with that bullshit! Well maybe you haven't heard Rhyme Asylum's new album! They got ill shit! I agree NAS has ill shit! OF COURSE! But c'mon you have to understand words matter in Hip Hop! 'Cause you see they are lyrikal geniuses!
@ClownTVProductions dude they barely sold out even with 50 i mean it was basically the 90s were they was on fire and selling but after that no more was they selling. and i mean in your perspective they might not be lyrical geniuses but they speak the truth, keep it real, and there lyrics are deep not some rhyming stuff you gotta listen yo. put it like this in some songs they mostly put messages, and gangster rap. yea i like the underground but damn i dont care bout no rhyme asylum, afu ra better
All ya'll be stucc on the Old shit. Sorry but these niggaz ain't keeping shit alive. Last time I saw these fools were rapping with 50 Cent and G-Unot. It's about time ya'll support the New Real Underground Hip Hop heads that are trying to keep Hip Hop alive. Hate it or not. It's fact.
@ClownTVProductions also you must be 2 years late they been drop out that label and now they went underground you dont hear their shit they aint commercial and besides you gotta understand they needed money so 50 helped them they were going broke so life situations also you put one of your influences are kid cudi thats really nice another gay fagget swagget rapper and yet you say support the underground real smart kid please these classics are more rare then the underground no disrespect 2 dat
Ahaha, beyond lyrikal geniuses? I don't think you even know what metaphors are? Mobb Deep are lyrikal geniuses because they rap about street life? So did Tupac, so did Bone Thugs, Tech N9ne, South Park Mexican, Immortal Technique. Midwest? I'm from the South. I come from where Hip Hop truly died. But I know my Hip Hop. I listen to every kind of rappers. I know Nas will murder Bone Thugs. But he won't murder Rhyme Asylum or Lowkey. Yeah, you think he would well go checc dem out!
@ClownTVProductions i know what metaphors, punchlines, and similies and all that shit go listen to big l for that but if you come over on a classic mobb deep track and ranting about how other rappers or the underground where hiphop is then get out of here i know alot bout the underground in my opionion immortal technique is best but you saying lowkey or rhyme asylum is better is then nas impossible to compare ya cant compare their albums to an illmatic ok hiphop aint all bout metaphors
And do you even know what the meaning of freestyling is? He doesn't rap on the beat right on that moment of the top of his head. How about learning some Ole' School Hip Hop culture. Freestyling means you write anything random of the top of yo' head. Not for making a song, but for writing it down whenever you felt like it.
Learn some Hip Hop etiquette. I listen to Mobb Deep lyrics and they are not even lyrical geniuses. They don't have metaphors and Bone Thugs "DID" have good lyrics. Tech N9ne has speed and lyrics. Some songs are dumb but some songs are not so lyrical but have the speed with lyrics. Eminem couldn't beat MC Supernatural in a freestyle? Who said anything about freestyling. Yeah, I know Eminem won't, 'cause he doesn't freestyle.
@ClownTVProductions wtf are you serious mobb deep is past beyond lyrical genuises they are MC's they rap about real shit the struggle and combine them into stories and messages and yet you say they aint, bitch nas will take bone thugs out you should know the nas is king poetic if your looking for metaphors and punchlines or even better yet big l he will murder bone thugs the fuck tech 9 get out of here you must be from some midwest check yo hip hop game mobb deep are street life dumbass clown
& a lil' bit about of Bone Thugs, Krayzie Bone & Bizzy Bone are strong lyricists, Krayzie Bone actually has flow and lyrics that Mobb Deep or any Eact Coast artists can't do and if you don't know about Tech N9ne, ha then check YO SELF KIDS! 'Cause Tech N9ne has flows and lyrics that will make artist look like shit. And also how about Eminem huh? Tell me, do ya'll actually really think the whole East Coast can go against Eminem? If ya'll do then ya'll just on a band wagon
Ummm actually I beg to differ, the most better lyricist come from the other side of the world and mostly truly Underground Hip-Hop. Ex: Lowkey, Rhyme Asylum, Jedi Mind Tricks, Army of Paroahs, Scientifik & you giving props to overrated artists. Big L was underrated and he was better than all the East Coast rappers. Look him up, learn more about Hip-Hop maybe you'd have A LIL knowledge.
why is it that every f*ckin rap clip on youtube i watch theres always a couple(group of people) having domestics over bullshit , um gonna say my word and tell you moaner's/whiners whatever, FUCK YOU! stop moaning, waist of time, you's are probably gonna kiss and make up later on anyway, ya'll are bunch of HOMO'S
@MrCesk123 haha ur a dumbass cuz ur talking shit to bitch dont get shit twisted either silly bitch ill put u in ur place which is on ur knees sucking on my nuts shitttttttttttttt
@MrCesk123 I dont have anything to say to you because ur so fucking retarded... But I will twist your mom's tits off, put em in a blender with some peanut butter and make myself a nice tasty milkshake, bitch.
What happen to this kind of flow for rap? mainstream music now days is not even rap its one fake verse about bitches hoes or money and then the rest is some random womans vocals lame as hell....... this is real shit right here rap at the beginning all the way to the end
@MrDJ217 yo i fully understand ya yo i mean now its all bout making money for some reason but like they say history repeats who knows what kind of hip hop might come next but i doubt it because they dont play these on the mainstream so that could be a big reason also, but yea that's what i ask everyday to myself, i mean i love hip hop the real of course thats why i only support the legends and the underground but until then thats it and i really dont want ppl to forget da golden age of rap
Mobb deep Illest group to ever live that nigga P be on his job with the ill word play and how he can tell storys in his ryhmes and shit real rappers dont rap about the money, hos and clothes and shit all the time they need to kick real shit and making sense and not just throwing a bunch of bullshit that just sounds good ryhming wise but dont make no sense like if you listen to mostly all mobb deeps songs and they all make sense
The best Mob Deep Album. That's what alot of catz where observing. Hip Hop has evolved, next step, clean up the act, bring up the hood, make power moves.
Hahahahaha. RDoubt96. That's pretty funny comin' out of a 21 year old with a weak channel to boot. Where were you when this came out? You were 6 and in Kindergarten. I sound gay? hahahahaha. You better watch out.....I'm not the one with oxfordkingpin24 all up on my nuts. I listen to 90's shit and paint trains. So what? That's what I've been doing since 1992. I'm 14 years your senior. Until you know anything about me or my life or where I came from just shut the fuck up. I don't time for trolls.
Real Talk!! These cats spit that realness, No bullshit! Shit that you could feel.....Its ill how vivid they paint the pictures of the street stories they put down lyrically! Im telling all yall put this is on track one let it ride til the cd stops!! smoke a blunt and zone the fuck out on this whole album!!!!!!! Such a timeless classic!
One of my favorite Hip Hop tracks of all time! I used to bump the shit outta this in High School (1995) Takes a muhfucka back to when rap was on some quality shit!
I was bumpin this around my hometown Dallas, TX and people were looking at me like i was crazy because i wasnt bumpin some of that radio garbage haha. LOL oh yeah im white too haha
2nd verse listen 2 it. mobb is tellin how they got there deal by shotin him in 94 4 puffy. did u a favor tryed 2 wet u but i graze u. pac got grazed in the head! think bout it
All these new yorkers talking shit about bone but Flesh was locked up for running fully auto AK's to new york. When he was popped he got arrested with over 40 AK's and something like 10-15 AR-15's. Thats why camron fucks with the midwest so hard cause were bout it and supply new york with hella shit. Boss up.
Most underrated Mobb track in my opinion. This is a song that can get you through the lowest points in your young life and serve as reminder when you're older and things get hectic again. Remember, we've worked through more difficult situtations. Hold thy head. Deuces.
Please school this stupid ass muthufucka.NY hip-hop has that distinct sound that no one can copy. How dare you give muthafuckin bone thugs and harmony credit for this incredible track. Punch you in your fuckin face duke.fuckin clown
Bone Thugs are some of the greatest of all time, i cant pick favorites because theirs so many different styles that to compare bone thugs to mob deep is stupid because their rhyme scheme are completely different. I love both bone and the midwest perfected & made syllable count flows witch east coast rappers use to use this day but yall call it "multiples." Bone just took that shit to neptune, dont hate cause when u'd rap along u'd sound stupid.
What bone thugs and harmony???!!! What?! Check yourself kid...thats a potent mix you signed off on!! Hardcore east coast flava and midwest braidtwisting lullabyes dont mix son! It`s like vodka and milk!
to all the tupac, snoop, dre fans who know nothin about hiphop talkin smack ...when biggie, mobb, nas, WU, premo, grouphome, large pro, ditc, busta, JERU DA DAMAJA ahh sheeet.... go on a flurry of hits to mangle, manhandle, murder, maim then massage the tupacer and leftcoaster weak rappers of the world in every verse they sang...please put the war rest...no competition nyc rappers allday everyday destroy anythin from leftcoast
im not from the west, but you talk about stopping the war, and then you talk shit about how new york is superior. mobb deep has no content. Pac was soul shit. yeah this beat is grimey real ass hip hop, but Pac is still the greatest in my opinion, and I got respect for New York, Biggie is the best spitter, but pac was the Realist, and the GOAT
@robotvampry i sortof agree, but u have to admit, tupac completely rinsed out biggie and east coast on 'hit em up'. but east coast did have so many more people on their side. but i still think pac is up there with the greats, aswell as biggie and nearly all of wu and prodigy from mobb deep.
@robotvampry Those rappers stand no chance against any of the NY rappers you just mentioned, or any new ones today for that matter. The west is recycled G funk beats or samples from the 70's over and over again. Rappin about khakis blunts and bloods and crips. Big whoop. NYC beats and lyrics ace south, west, or midwest anyday.
This album is completely flawless the beats are pure tough and real and there isnt a verse that prodigy and havoc dont tear apart. This is hip hop in such a pure form. This is also considered one of the most gangsta albums of all time but i dont see it like that. What there saying is real and just tales of the hood. There not saying with punchlines and metaphors how they kill like some rappers do. Its 100% real
I such a blend of 90s rap. Everything from return to 36 chambers, Illmatic, Atliens, Soul Food, Doggystyle, Ready to Die, Nocturnal, Dare iz a darkside, and more. The list of classic 90s albums can go on for an eternity!
Pure Classic! This album was almost a classic. The only reason I can't say the entire album was is because I could not play it straight through. Other than that though, I miss this brand of rapping.
@ProseCombats I listened again and you are right. I know what confused me, I felt the album was playable all the way through...until the very last track. I just didn't like "Party's Over", but that is me being greedy. You are right. Once an album is over 10 tracks and you can play it all the way through, it has the ability to be mentioned as a classic.
@whosaidthattteez85 You know what, when I look back on it and listen, you are right. I was mistaken, it was Cradle to the Grave that seemed misplaced.
Don't get me wrong, I am from the South. This was one of the first 5 hip hop albums I purchased and listened to it EVERY DAY! Might have had the entire joint memorized in about two and a half weeks.
im sorry but i have to stronglyyyyy disagree. IMO this is the greatest rap album ever put togher better than illmatic, 36 chambers, liquid swords, chronic, paid in full etc... Though there all classics.
@mobbrollsdeep You know what, you may have a point except for the Chronic. That album changed, not only the music game, but an entire coast and then the culture.
it all came from this.

@oliveskin1
The fuck are you talkin about?!?!
Bone Thugs are some of the greatest of all time, i cant pick favorites because theirs so many different styles that to compare bone thugs to mob deep is stupid because their rhyme scheme are completely different. I love both bone and the midwest perfected & made syllable count flows witch east coast rappers use to use this day but yall call it "multiples." Bone just took that shit to neptune, dont hate cause when u'd rap along u'd sound stupid.

best groups in hiphop history. mobb deep and bone thugs'n harmony

to all the tupac, snoop, dre fans who know nothin about hiphop talkin smack ...when biggie, mobb, nas, WU, premo, grouphome, large pro, ditc, busta, JERU DA DAMAJA ahh sheeet.... go on a flurry of hits to mangle, manhandle, murder, maim then massage the tupacer and leftcoaster weak rappers of the world in every verse they sang...please put the war rest...no competition nyc rappers allday everyday destroy anythin from leftcoast
robotvampry 2 years ago 29
im not from the west, but you talk about stopping the war, and then you talk shit about how new york is superior. mobb deep has no content. Pac was soul shit. yeah this beat is grimey real ass hip hop, but Pac is still the greatest in my opinion, and I got respect for New York, Biggie is the best spitter, but pac was the Realist, and the GOAT
disciple21781 2 years ago
@robotvampry i sortof agree, but u have to admit, tupac completely rinsed out biggie and east coast on 'hit em up'. but east coast did have so many more people on their side. but i still think pac is up there with the greats, aswell as biggie and nearly all of wu and prodigy from mobb deep.
PS3xMedia 1 year ago
@robotvampry really taking a stand putting this on an eastcoast song haha
peeeeeeemp 1 year ago
@robotvampry if you spoke better english id understand you...but i get the drift...and u are right! haha
tristanauspride 1 year ago
@robotvampry Those rappers stand no chance against any of the NY rappers you just mentioned, or any new ones today for that matter. The west is recycled G funk beats or samples from the 70's over and over again. Rappin about khakis blunts and bloods and crips. Big whoop. NYC beats and lyrics ace south, west, or midwest anyday.
AvonBarksdale101 1 year ago

yareyare54 2 years ago

The list of classic 90s albums can go on for an eternity!

how could you not play it all the way through? every song on this album is bangin
EvolutionCometh 2 years ago 2
Pure Classic! This album was almost a classic. The only reason I can't say the entire album was is because I could not play it straight through. Other than that though, I miss this brand of rapping.
AbsolutFent 2 years ago 2
Which tracks weren't you digging? For a 16 song album this is one i could just leave on. I gotta respectfully disagree.
ProseCombats 2 years ago 2
@ProseCombats I listened again and you are right. I know what confused me, I felt the album was playable all the way through...until the very last track. I just didn't like "Party's Over", but that is me being greedy. You are right. Once an album is over 10 tracks and you can play it all the way through, it has the ability to be mentioned as a classic.
AbsolutFent 1 year ago
@AbsolutFent
With respect 2 your opinion, but Party Over is the BEST song on that album, the perfect outro for that crazy intro start of your ending!!!!
Maybe the beat took you in too deep maybe you started drowning idk lol j/k but hey i don't knock you xD..
The one that was outta place to me was cradle to the grave.....
whosaidthattteez85 1 year ago
@whosaidthattteez85 You know what, when I look back on it and listen, you are right. I was mistaken, it was Cradle to the Grave that seemed misplaced.
Don't get me wrong, I am from the South. This was one of the first 5 hip hop albums I purchased and listened to it EVERY DAY! Might have had the entire joint memorized in about two and a half weeks.
AbsolutFent 1 year ago
@AbsolutFent
im sorry but i have to stronglyyyyy disagree. IMO this is the greatest rap album ever put togher better than illmatic, 36 chambers, liquid swords, chronic, paid in full etc... Though there all classics.
mobbrollsdeep 2 years ago
@mobbrollsdeep You know what, you may have a point except for the Chronic. That album changed, not only the music game, but an entire coast and then the culture.
