  • Nice fish there pal ,you cant beat LIVEBAITING for the PIKE especialy when you know where the spots are

    All the best mate.

  • How did you fish?

  • true fisherman catch and release

WHERE DO YOU GO FISHING WHERE IS THAT RIVER

  • The River Itchen South England, thanks for the comments

  • hey guys you know about pike someone give me a few tips on baits, rigs and WHERE TO FIND THEM

  • @FOOTBALLisMYpurelife In rivers look for brakes in the current, small bays and where the water swirls back upstream. They like to rest and ambush.

  • I tend to look for totally slack water on the river, even better with some cover. Most of my river pike have come straight from under my feet with little weed cover, as you can see in this vid , where I return is exactly where I hooked it , at the start of a big sweeping bend. My favourite aproach is trotted livebait, work ing the bait into likely holding areas. Take polarised glasses, in the right conditions spot the fish. Most importantly be very stealthy

  • @miders im not really a pike fisherman but the ones iv caught in rivers have been litterally under my feet too iv caught 2 10lb+ while usin minnow for perch hooked a 1 and the pike has taken it, fuckin makes u jump wen u see them dart out the reeds right below ur feet. i went to canada and went fishin on a boat with my uncle for bass he was reelin 1 in that was about 3lb and a musky about 30-40lb nailed it just as i was about to grab it jumped back so far nocked us both off the boat

  • @FOOTBALLisMYpurelife

all you need is a big hook and a freshly caught bluegill or yellow perch hooked by the mouth. Throw that thing and let the perch work, in less than 5min you will get a pike hooked.

Pikes get messed up pretty bad most of the time I hook them, either the hook goes through the upper jaw bone or mess up through the gills. I only use that method when I'm catching to release them in the frying pan.

  • Nice fish mate. Where abouts on the itchen were you?

  • went to the norfolk broads in search of pike last week in wroxham caugh a 17lb4oz pike less then 3 meters from the bank in the boat yard on roach deadbait.then rebaited n put it in the exact same place n within ten mins had another on but managed to turn/shake its head and as i had barbless trebles it shook out the hook.about 9-10lb.

  • that could easily be 22 lb its a very deep fish glad you released it

  • my biggest pike is 16lb but hope to catch a bigger one Jackson Davis of JADAFilms

  • i lost a 10lb pike and i went to longhams lake it 60pound for 1 year and its been open 4 3months and already a 19lb and a 22lb pike out

  • im 15 i just got yeasterday 10 kilos pike!! on the kymijoki river in finland

  • nice fish and im 13 and i catch pike but if i had that on the end of my rod i would have gave my rod 2 my uncle and run 4 miles lol

  • Nice fish! looks bigger than 22! cant beat livebaiting!

  • Glad to see you released it. Nice fish, man.

  • how did u real that in?

  • Nice Pike, But bullshit that doesn't weigh that much.

  • actually your wrong. IT DOES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • That's a big pike for the Itchen. I used to fish that river and I never saw one over 10lb. Normally the bailiffs fish them out to preserve the trout stocks.

  • GOOD DAYS WORK WELL DONE

  • 22lb not even near 13lb

  • of course it looks 22lb, look at the belly on that monster! nice fish man well done

  • if you think thats 13lb how big are you?
