Try using Thunder Beam on those Rolling Cutters. If you did it right, the Thunder Beam should be shredded into tiny bits.

hey Roahm, good news… I found a pattern to Big eye's jump!

the pattern is… Big eye jumps at random if you are on ground, but if you do a very little jump he does the high jump every time… I accidentally found it out while playing and put it to test in my new videos that I'm uploading as this is being posted.

You don't. The original Mega Man had no save system, and no password system. You had to play it all the way through in one sitting.

I can't believe the booklet would talk about a two-player mode. Ironic that such a thing wouldn't be realized until much later. The arcade games, I believe, finally pulled this off? Anyway. I never knew the booklet was flawed too. Maybe I should be grateful I only ever got to rent this game as a kid (if that; my memories are fuzzy, but I at least saw 2, 3, and 4 for rent during my childhood, not sure if I ever got 1 or not).

This may just be coincidence but based on your outtakes there appears to be some correlation between when your in midair and when big eye does his high jump.

I got the idea when you mentioned the RSJ's won't shoot if your in midair when they land...your Flashman run I think it was.

No, I have no plans to do the X series. I do not enjoy it anywhere near as much as the Classic series. I don't even have all the games in the series, nor the desire to collect them.

Well, doing things like that makes things easier. I usually rush down and attack Cutman which results in him jumping into me a lot.

This strategy just needs me to dodge the blade which is easy enough. I'll go try that out.

hate to tell you but it doesn't work he jumps to much and perfer's to throw so he's not easy to hit by any means on top of that i can only make him jump a limited number of times i think his ai is spastic i'm not quite sure if you saw me fight him you'd see i could load it and let you watch if you wanted but man he's like different alot form the one you fought trust me he's a "bloody nightmare" as you would say XD!!

Well, if he has the same sort of AI as the NES Cut Man, you actually don't want to move too much. Try to keep the high ground. When he's about to throw the Rolling Cutter, he stops for a moment and there's a slight sound cue, as if he were detaching the cutter from his head. Use this as a moment to prepare.  Keep the high ground, and shoot him back down every time he jumps to try to get up to where you are. He's actually fairly simple this way with enough practice.

ok this is not as easy as it looks folks i'm trying this on the sega genesis emulatoir and IT IS HARD! roham please tell me that that short cut is still there on the sega genesis these shell's aren't hard but they do hit me from time to time but i CAN NOT BEAT CUT MAN and yes this is my first few times of trying this so i am new to this any pointers you could give me?

Well, the Genesis version does make things a bit harder. I think they removed the shortcut in that version, it might have been purely due to the NES programming. It also makes the Robot Masters more durable, and I think got rid of the knockback some MM1 Robot Masters suffered.
