The piece is quite nice, but I agree, the balance is not good at all. Few times I heard a piece for 2 bass clarinets and clarinet ensemble. Thanks for sharing this!

yep, De Vreese made this arrangement, and the balance is in fact a problem!

Wondering if De Vreese also made this arrangement... It sounds like a cool work, but it seems to be poorly scored for balance between the ensemble and soloists. Otherwise, this conductor should have chosen to reduce the size of the choir. It's just too big to be accompanying 2 bass voices.
