First off this is not a good way to do an interview. Fable 3 is still fun, but if you over hype a game and mention features that don't exist in the game you are just going to piss off people. That aside I like the fable franchise. One thing I like is how the game tries to be unique and different. Sure people will repeat the same lines and such but the world feels a lot more alive than other RPG's such as Oblivion. Like Oblivion you need to Immerse yourself in the world to fully enjoy it.

The weapons don't upgrade as smoothly as I thought. You unlock chests, of which there are only five, as you play through the game. Each time you open a chest it will change a different aspect of your weapon almost at random. The hilt, the colour etc. However, once the last chest is opened, you cannot morph your weapons again. Sucky :(
Remember how he said everyone's weapon was unique and evolved as you used it. Remember how when the game dropped we got a clunky mechanic that was nothing more than a random weapon generator and if/when you got something you didn't like you would just reload until you got some variation that was marginally acceptable. Oh and that weapon that was "uniquely yours" was pretty much the weakest in the game, so you never really used it anyway... haha yeah... Really nice...

He makes the weapon crafting sounds so amazing like each weapon is unique but its not, you have to go to a chest and upgrade your weapon level PLUS each melee or ranged weapon levels up so your weapon is not unique.

I love the game, but I can't find a single sentence about weapons that wasn't a downright lie.
The weapon (not weapons) doesn't morph over time, but gets replaced by a random level-up that is NOT based on your playing style. You can't trade it, you can't craft, and the morphing doesn't continue as you play. Once it reaches level 5, it's done, and you're out of luck.
Hell, I could make a system better than Fable 3's actual one. Soon as I'm done programming my game's character control, I will.
I don't understand why people are making a big fuss about Peter saying the king in fable 2's name was Logan. It is possible that the he said it wrong and meant fable 3 because he doesn't continue talking about fable 2 afterwards.

@Denturion No dude, i know that the hero weapons change based on everything to the spells you use, to how nice you are to your family, but he gave us false hope in that EVERY weapon would be like that and plus they say in the game there is around 50 legendary weapons right? but then again, THERE IS NO OTHER TYPE OF FUCKING WEAPONS. Theres no normal weapons like good ol' master katana or steel longsword; every weapon is a legendary weapon = no legendary weapons really.

you could put it this way: Peter Molyneux has a great vision, there's obviously so much he wanna do and add to the game, in both the mechanics, the graphics, the physics, the story, and so on, but eventually someone has to make this work in one single game, and some elements might be too difficult to construct, and they'll have to abandon those ideas, otherwise the development time would be that of DNF! lol

Lol at Molyneux at the end "I didn't say that!" :L Yeah, this guy is a really good salesman. It takes understanding to sell someone the same thing as if it's new. The weapons don't upgrade as smoothly as I thought. You unlock chests, of which there are only five, as you play through the game. Each time you open a chest it will change a different aspect of your weapon almost at random. The hilt, the colour etc. However, once the last chest is opened, you cannot morph your weapons again. Sucky :(

Remember how he said everyone's weapon was unique and evolved as you used it. Remember how when the game dropped we got a clunky mechanic that was nothing more than a random weapon generator and if/when you got something you didn't like you would just reload until you got some variation that was marginally acceptable. Oh and that weapon that was "uniquely yours" was pretty much the weakest in the game, so you never really used it anyway... haha yeah... Really nice...

He makes the weapon crafting sounds so amazing like each weapon is unique but its not, you have to go to a chest and upgrade your weapon level PLUS each melee or ranged weapon levels up so your weapon is not unique.

well once again Peter lied. This game was good dnt get me wrong, but it rully hasnt improved as much as it can nd then ending kinda sucked. Being the ruler sucks, u dnt get to make decisions like taking people to the treasury nd letting them take gold. The dog still sucks nd the touch mechanic gets old rully fast. weapon crafting was ok i kinda liked it but i kept gettin tha same damned weapon, i got more to say bout this game but its not even worth it. I love the game, but I can't find a single sentence about weapons that wasn't a downright lie.
The weapon (not weapons) doesn't morph over time, but gets replaced by a random level-up that is NOT based on your playing style. You can't trade it, you can't craft, and the morphing doesn't continue as you play. Once it reaches level 5, it's done, and you're out of luck.
Hell, I could make a system better than Fable 3's actual one. Soon as I'm done programming my game's character control, I will.
