I met Stu in 1982 or maybe it was '83 when he played in a pub in Somerset with his 'famous blues band'; aged 16, I was manic about the Stones and took the opportunity to interview Stu for my school magazine, much to his bemusement - and the band's amusement. Nice guy. I love this track!
@RedLittleLadybird Can you send me that interview? I'm very curious. Stu was the sixth Stone but I know little about him. Did you had actually contact with the Stones, because you mentioned 'the band's amusement'.
Every publicity shot I saw with Ian Stuart, he always seemed to be hiding in the shadows, but I know he lives on the forefront of their hearts. What a wonderful asset he was to the RS!!! beautiful post~
