@Kacz101stABNDIV: Why did you have to rebuild the throttle bodies? No I didn't get the injectors cleaned, thinking my mileage didn't necessiate it but now I'm thinking I was wrong not to do it, shouldn't have listened to my friends :-( ...
@arrow0872 i rebuilt them for peace of mind really, i mean 10 psi isn't a lot but it was never designed for boost so i just figured better safe then sorry.. i would pull the injectors out and have them cleaned and pressure/flow tested because the fuel filter in the tank deteriorates over time and little particles get through the pump down the lines and clog the injector holes, which could cause sparatic bad air fuel ratios which screws your tune up and could cause pre-det.
I looked for kevlar plates for the VFR once, but couldn't find them anywhere, they would've been handy for this application. I gassed it quite a bit in Holland, and never had a problem with the current clutch though...
Mine was dynoed at 202 HP but I have a problem. The bike is OK at steady throttle but as soon as you slow down, speed up (like you do in traffic) it acts as if it's running out of gas then responds suddenly & then cuts off again. When this happens I pull over and kill the engine, restart & everything seems fine until it happens all over again. Dan suggested checking starter valve synch (and I had a problem with this before the SC now that I think of it), and I'll also check my installation work.
@arrow0872 202hp thats very impressive!!! during my instillation i completely rebuilt the throttle bodies (everything, it was the majority of the project) and had the fuel injectors cleaned and it runs better now then it did stock.. i ordered delkevic headers and collector and i am getting custom clutch plates made from a machine shop here locally... did you have the injectors cleaned because my bike before the SC had only 4,000 miles on it and they were filthy that could be your problem...
@kevito666@kevito666 My problem is most likely dirty injectors (I should've had them cleaned before installing the SC), and bad starter valve synchronization. Another possibility is bad FPR but I'll get the injectors cleaned (ultrasonically) and get the synch done first. If they don't work I'll change the FPR. I don't have the money or time to do any of this until March earliest, but I'll keep you guys posted...
Did you install the clutch springs? I had no problem with the clutch slipping, but my plates are fairly new, may be yours are in need of a refresh? Are you a member of the VFRD by the way?
@arrow0872 yeah I changed the springs and my plates are fairly decent.. probably going to run carbon metallic plates soon.. any dyno numbers on yours yet??? no i am not a member of vfrd. i am a member of vfrworld though i never check it unless i am looking for advice..
@arrow0872 sometimes oil with incompatible additives can make the clutch slip, make sure the stuff you use is compliant with the Honda spec'd stuff. Too much additives can make it slip and glaze while not enough can make it wear down prematurely between the plates (and other wear problems).

@Kacz101stABNDIV I did my injectors and installed new rubber seals to the throttle just in case. I'll be posting some videos of my VFR SC soon.

@arrow0872 have you tried playing with some of the accelerator pump settings? it's not a fix, but it might help out with your problems.

What was the cost of the kit and how easy to fit, does it reduce engine life?
Can't stop watching, want more :-)

Let me know how you get on?
Why change the swingarm, why not just get ohlins shock?

Would love to see with a better clutch!
But bet that VFR is going to wheelie in most gears if the clutch but harder!
Is this a kit that is fully tested and easy to fit?
Again want one!
