Navy football is one of the most storied programs in all of college football. It holds some of the oldest rivalry games, including the gold helmet battle between Notre dame and navy. Navy may be small by d-1 standards, but they are consistently good and are always a tough opponent. So why don't u take your ill-placed comments somewhere else and let others enjoy the video they chose to watch.
So are Harvard and Princeton and Yale, and if ND played them I'd hope ND would beat them by 90, considering the talent disparity. The fact is that the academies are teams that, based on talent, ND should beat 56-14 just about every year. There's nothing controversial about saying this or expecting this. Roger Staubach is not walking through that door.
It sure seems like its easy for people to have a complete lack of understanding for what Navy and Notre Dame truly represents. Most people have no concept of serving their country, but when you come from a military background like I do, you tend to put just as much emphasis on the BROTHERHOOD the Irish and Navy share (just as with Army, although less personal) and not forget everything the two schools have done for eachother.
