I must hurry and get this book, since The Secret Life of Plants by Tompkins is one of my all time favorite books. It seems this one has a somewhat different angle.
One of my favorite books is "The Secret Life of Plants" (1973) by Peter Tompkins & Christopher Bird. There's a 90 min. documentary in google videos with same title. The idea is that despite plants not having a nervous system or brain, plants may be sentient. Their research was astounding. I have no doubts that not only are plants acutely aware of their surroundings & the people who treat plants badly or are good souls but also communicate. You've created a good video to expand on this awareness.
@ShiftingReality Thank you. I have the Secret life of plants. It is an astonishing book. I have always understood that plants were more advanced than human life. As a child growing in an invaded world we forget this thru their mindwiping, i mean schooling system. Rocks, crystals, clouds, sky, air and water also speak, but it's sad that it would take a writer to even give a spark of imagination to the walking dead to even contemplate it. Native wisdom reigns over anything modern. Peace my friend
@SaratogaBrown lovely....haha!, well it's settled I'm off to talk to some rocks. I shall tell you latter what they said, I shall also pass on your kind regards.
@ShiftingReality ( and Koolvedger) I have the book 'The Secret Life of Plant's' and Stevie Wonder's album by same name. Saw his awesome concert in Pasadena early 80's - film backdrop, full orchestra and all the songs. An event never to be forgotten! I've communicated with plants all my life including a 35 yr, long distance relationship with a special tree until her death. (She was even in a major movie once.) They ARE aware of everything and have language to express it. Never doubt it.
Killer book, everyone should read

@Koolvedge Must say I like the way you "see" things I thought you would like this quote I saved.
Wanderer grinned. “I came early to talk to the rocks.”
“What for” she asked.
“Why, to hear stories about the Beginning of the World…..
Oh, most people don’t want to talk with the rocks.
It’s a curious prejudice. They’ll talk to themselves with no hesitation,
but when it comes to communicating with higher Spiritual forms,
they go deaf and dumb.”
