Is there anyone who's done both the star ruby and the LBRP who knows how they compare? I know that different banishings have different energies for me. I'll have to try this one out.

@KINGROOSTER45 Ive done both the LBRP and Star Ruby what feels like hundreds of times. The Star Ruby has proved to be far more powerful to me. I wouldn't presume to say this is true for everyone. As a Thelemite I have a greater love and understanding for the divine names in the Star Ruby than i do for those of the LBRP. But if you where a Jew or a Kabbalist you might prefer the LBRP because it uses the Hebrew divine names. Thats just my theory, the only way to know is to experiment for yourself.

Some interpret this as actual energies in a more supernatural sense, believing that they are separate from themselves, and some see it from more of a psychological perspective, whereby it is having an effect on a subconscious level by creating a particular mood to provoke a physical response.

"O Phallae" is the appropriate wording for both men AND women. The terp Phallus in the context of a Solar Phallic practice is not necessarily referring to a physical phallus. It is referring to the generative force of the universe. this is not gender specific. This force is contained in both men and women. for your other question, this is not a ritual meant to be performed in a group. It could be adapted for that, but that is not how it is intended.

The pronounciation isn't exactly like that. In the QC it's more like "Si, O Phalle, Ishiros, Efharistos". In the end it's like "Pro mu iiges, opiso mu teletarhe, epi THexia (TH pronounced as in THEE) sinohes, eparistera THaimonos. Flegi gar peri mu o astir ton pente ke en ti stili mu o astir ton ex esteke". That's the easiest and bestway to pronounce the Greek in this ritual. Although still not 100% correct, but at least comprehensible by Greeks.

I attended a dozen of greek lessons over the last month and I noticed that the "right" pronounciation in greek is much different than that of the most magickians. Some sounds aren't available in greek, some letters change. But that's only a minor detail. Sounds like for an english speaker it's much harder to pronounce compared to a german speaker like myselft.

Well I will say that I see some logic in the statement you make about the "Apo Pantos" part, as the text doesn't say anything about the foot movement, and I can see the logic of "leaning In" there. However, the rest, with the exception of pronunciation issues, seem to either be subjective(Like telling me I'm not vibrating right), or "extra" and not supported by the text itself (like stomping the foot before the SOS? Or telling me how long it should take me to visualize the pentagrams?).

Ah, well, I was taught that stomping the foot is part of the SoS. Not really "extra" as the text expects you to know how to make each sign that it calls for.

Things like how long it "should" take for visualization, how deep/long you breath in, how powerful you vibrate, etc. really depends on your level of mastery. This is developed first through Liber E and then through Liber O, and supplementals. Though, to each his own, there may be other means more suitable to your own nature.

Well these things are for you to determine. I tried to steer you in the right direction is all. Yes it is not something you will master in a month, or in a year. It is complex, but I would not say it's Dogmatic. Rituals can be created, or changed. But I feel it's important to have a firm grasp of the methods and system before changing stuff up. And as for the archetypes, Crowley played with them quite a bit. Magick utilizes judeo christian symbolism alot because it's rooted in the qaballah. 93

Very good....there's another version of this ritual on youtube where the magician doesn't repeat "io pan" while making the N.O.X. signs. It's always nice to see different variations of the same ritual. your videos a very helpful especially the ritual videos.....keep it up.....Have you ever thought about doing the mass of the pheonix or reguli? I think those would make some good video.

I have seen it done different ways as well. I have seen different orderings of the NOX signs and variations thereof. This is the way I find appropriate. Notice "Raise thy voice in the Paean with these words.... IO Pan. With the signs of N.O.X." A paean can be defined as a song or chant. I can see that being accomplished in many ways, but it should be in the ritual as written nonetheless, rather than just a single spoken "IO Pan" IMO. there's room for interpretation for sure, but Paean is Paean.

Very good! Why did you choose the Book 4 version, and how much would you say the difference between both versions matters?

Thank you, sir. I chose to present this version mostly because it's the one that I personally find most effective. It was the first version I learned, and that probably plays a big role in it's effectiveness for me personally. I don't necessarily think that the differences from version to version "Matter" per se.....I just prefer this one for my personal use. Thanks for watching...
