I think this is enough. there wouldn't be too much hunger if there weren't a mass production of humans on the first place. that's right, not everyone care about the resources, or other life forms in this planet. In all honesty, if you were born there and these cows were your life and food source... you would protect them as well! It's easy to pass judgement when you are not walking in someone elses shoes! Imagine if it were you and you had children there? If a lion comes into your territory and takes a cow... it is smart to think that next time it could be your child! I hope these people keep their cows off the reserve! Taunting cows in front of them is stupid....

I am neutral on this. I love lions...and it kills me to see any of them die! And it is their natural instinct to kill... so if they see a herd of cows they will strike if they are hungry. I think these people should try to keep their cattle off the reserve! If they bring them into the lion's territory then it's their fault... but if the lions venture into their territory and off the reserve then it's not the people's fault! It's tough but it's survival of the fittest! I just hope the lions learn

But just so you know the killing of select animals for human survival has been around for thousands of years- Without it - ourselves as a race would be extinct. The only reason why animals are becoming extinct is because of us taking away or destroying their habitat. I wonder if there are vegetarian lions who think "i will not eat meat. its cruel, i hate it!"

The Masai are just like us. They cannot stand anything cutting into their profit margins. They are not going to starve from the loss of cattle which stems from lion attacks. They are simply driven by greed.  God makes us stewards of the earth and we irresponsibly hoard it's resources eventually destroying ourselves.

cattle aren't part of there natural food. They usually avoid cattle. Yes they can tell the difference between a wildebeest and a cow. There is animals they don't attack that have a similar body shape to a zebra or wildebeest, and they won't attack them because they know they taste bad.

They know what they are attacking, they just don't know killing cows will get them killed.

@IntelligentCrow I agree with you 100%. Humans have to STOP reproducing so much so that other species at least get the chance to exist. Most of the worlds problems right now ie: pollution, short food supply, etc are due to overpopulation. people really have to wake up and put a cap on this before we destroy our entire planet. Maybe our species would do better actually using our so called superior intelligence instead of just bragging about it all the time.
