@OkUrRight LMAO! You would be wrong in your assumption. I LOVE Batman TAS.Grew up with it. Kevin Conroy IS batman to me & Mark Hamill IS the joker. One of my very most favorite cartoons..EVER. As for never reading the comics... My closet full o' long boxes says different. ;) I just think this show is fun. The not so populer characters it brings in. The obscure comic references it makes from time to time. "One Punch!" It's not TAS. But I still like it.

I'm sorry to say.I hate this take on Batman. For me it's a step backwards,especially after the last 2 films and the Batman:Gotham Knight animated shorts.I know it's for the kids but the 90's version was far superior and it was not only for kids but for older viewers as well.That show got me reading the comics and I've become a fan of all things(except this show),Batman.Why can't there be an adult animated series based on Batman?Sure there's movies with Superman and Gotham Knights.We need one.

This disappointed me sooo much! TBATB provides so much fan service to us batfans. Surely they knew that Bane's interpretation as a steroid brute was now the norm for him, and knew that in the comics he is actually smart and awesome! Why would they re-use him as the idiot Bane from Batman and Robin? They could have made fans so happy, like they do in 90% of the other episodes from this show.

@m2reily "The Batman" made him much more of a menace to Batman than TAS. They managed to handle him greatly in TNBA, but the third episode of "The Batman" treated him pretty well. (While I will agree that he was poorly handled after that.)

Bane was always tough. He grew up in a prison in South America. Literally. He was still like...six when he was first put in. He hid a knife inside his teddy bear. He was such a bad ass that he was used to try the new version of Venom on, fed directly into his brain rather then taken in the form of a pill.

Bane was always tough, he was a pretty big guy too before the Venom serum, which just made him a freak; so to speak.

He grew up in prison were he was used as a test subject for Venom. Afterward he escaped and began his criminal career as Bane.
