People get attached to characters, even though it's a show, they miss seeing the person. Also, it's a sensitive issue & something that is harder for some to deal with than if Kutner had left, or even if he'd been killed. So, those are a couple of reasons why it might seem like people are making a big deal.
Kutner was my favorite character & I feel bad that we won't get to see him again, but I am happy for Kal & I wish him the best!
Uh, I forgot, I absolutely LOVE the two pics in the end where you there's a group shot and you took Kutner out of it. So symbolic! He'll leave a hole in the team.
Me either... Kal Penn moved in another direction in his career. He won't be acting for awhile.... Kutner was my favorite character of the supporting cast when Kal landed that role.
I really liked Kutner. He was funny, and nice, and a nice change from the other charactors. Def the best out of that new cast.
