  • Great analysis! I see it like this: He was not miserable at the beginning, but he kept longing for more. He had a spark in his belly, which he gave away to make his own product efficient. Once he gave it all away, he noticed, there's nothing left and then he becomes miserable. So the big conclusion is: Don't crave for more, it'll leave you unsatisfied.

  • @mello4eva I don't think it is saying don't crave for more, rather I think it is saying be careful of being too envious. In otherwords, don't spend all your time wanting more.

  • This is such a perfect analysis of the film. You so effectively break it into its 3 acts and then analyze each piece individually, but still connecting them all together as an integral union of an overall breathtaking story. I congratulate you sir for an amazing work!

  • in the end he is not happy and the fire inside has burnt out. This short came out about the time I was downsized out of a job after climbing the corporate ladder to a lot of success. The film really spoke to me the fire I had burnt completely out.
