I already knew all about gold and I have been using colloidal silver for the past 10 yrs and never get sick anymore, I also use it for my sinus infections, awesome stuff. Do you think it is ok to apply pure vitamin E oil before plating my face in gold, or would that be too sticky and offer too much resistance when it comes time to rub off the gold?

I thought drinking Goldschläger was freaky before I saw this...but as long as it's 24k, it's perfectly safe on or in your body.

I wouldnt recommend using Vitamin E oil. The gold actually sticks very very well on its own, so my serum prep is just a little extra thing that isnt necessarily essential if you cleanse and exfoliate beforehand. It wouldnt absorb very well I imagine with E oil. YEs, I know! Actually, gold has no reaction when ingested, it is immediately and efficiently excreted. Very interesting!

It is for all skin types, so exfoliation would not really anger the skin in any way. I say go for it. It might even enhance your skin's receptivity to the gold particles.

It could be an adjustment phase to your new product(s). But redness is never good--inflamation hurts the skin at a cellular level. Just do a bit of research about the specific chemicals in the treatments you are using. I assume you have sensitive skin? Just try to use the basics, and stay away from preservatives. A good HA serum, a Retenol treatment, a plain moistizer, a skin-appropriate cleanser and a rose-based toner...and you are set :)

Thanks for responding. I just bought Natura Bisse, amaore Pacific, La mer and cle de peau during NM beauty week. LOL. I think it may be the lemon extract in the Natura Bisse Cure cleansing line. Also the menthol. I bought the Cle de peau gentle foaming cleanser and the La mer Hydrating tonic. I dont think they will give me any problems. I hope it isnt the EL advanced night repair. I have been using it for 1 week now. Im a product junky. I know I need simple. Then I come here and want to buy .

It could very well be the lemon extract, although it isnt to common to get a reaction from that, but if you did, it would be red hives like. La Mer and Cle de Peau are very good for sensitive skin and rarely ever react negatively given their low preservative rates. I love the cle de peau cleanser !! thats what I use too. for toner I use Guerlain's super aqua lotion.
