@idrobyn Even if that was all they could do, a band would sound like a stereo with no bass. That would be horrible.

i'm going this year!
it's my first time playing in it.
but i'm kind of nervous becuase i play trombone and i don't want to slip up on the euph fingerings :/

Yeah, i am bring like three tuba/Baritone players this year. Last year was my first year.
Nice. Lots of kids from other school in our area are all getting together so we ride the same bus and go to NYC. :) Are you from the New York area? I'm from Pennsylvania.
