u need to start the mod by pressing 'change radio station button' , after that lights will flash ... and if u want the menu u need to hold the 'vigilante' button untill it opens , u can change with ur arrows ... and the final step : if u've choose ur light , hold the horn , u should be fine =) (soz bad english)

before you complain about the mod Ultraussie, could you do it? I think it is a great mod, but does it work properly in SA:MP? I have tried mods in SA:MP before and it often crashes. finally I do agree on the point of changing the key to bring up the menu away from number 2, for the reasons described (difficulty in SA:MP CnR)

The brakelights flash on superstrobe & if you really wanted to you can very easily make the taillights flash. As far as headlights going on & off well thats a hitch that cannot be avoided.

I understand now that the Traffic Direct requires specific vehicles. I just though it would be nice if, for users of non-modded vehicles, to be able to have an indicating mode.
Maybe the following will help you fix the garage bug:
I found out that as soon as the garage doors close, the vehicle inside appears to simply disappear, yet it re-appears as soon as the garage doors start to open. Maybe this is where the conflict lies. I also noticed that, with the flashing lights on, the game crashes as soon as the garage doors close also. See the pattern? Both the vehicle going invisible AND the game crashing occur at he same time.
> Fix the bug where "Traffic Direct Right" and "Traffic Direct Left" modes don't actually do anything of the sort. For example, make it so the lights on the vehicle in question "indicate" on just one side of the vehicle, depending on whether "Left" or "Right" was chosen.

nice job saesandy can you possibly make a new version of the light mod with selectable flashing patterns for the front rear and lightbar lights? like the front lights would have an option to have only the outside or inside lights flash on the firetruck since there is 2 sets of front lights
i dont think this is possible mate. its fairly restricted what you can do as there are only 3 possible lights you can assign objects to. you might be able to get a sinlge flashing light at the back controlled seperately from 2 front lights but would need a specially modified car - not my area

Why doesn't the menu work?
I placed the files in CLEO folder, and press key for vigilante in-game but no menu shows.
Flashing headlights when presssing the radio-change button works, however.
What's the key to open the menu??

its the Vigilante mission button once the lights are flashing. try holding it down until the menu appears sometimes there is a delay. should work :)

Dude, this one sucks.
For starters, you included a meu by pressing 2, which makes playing Cops and Robbers in samp really hard.
Seconly, the headlights actually turn off during the flashing mode, a saftey hazzard.
Secondly, the menu by presing 2 sucks...
And dude, forgot to say, why does it only flash headlights instead of the rear brake lights and Sirens ?
And dude...... The AI dont use it which is kinda pointless!

I found a few more bugs in this modification - sorry if it sounds like I'm putting you down!:
> Fix the bug where if a vehicle is left in a safe house garage, with the flashing lights still on, the game crashes.
> Fix the bug where, when having some of the flashing light modes on, causes the steering wheel of the vehicle to flicker.
> Change it so that when turning on/off the flashing lights in one vehicle, it doesn't affect any other vehicles with flashing lights on.
