  • "Take anything! Take anything! Take my organs but let me be!" Wise words to live by.

  • So did you put it back into the sea?

  • i did not know that was a self defense system , i knew it wasn't dead though , thanks for the info=)

  • the sea cucumber is actually still alive. Sea cucumbers use that as their defense.. the shoot out that white sticky stuff first to try to make the predator go away and if that does not work then it shoots all of its organs to distract the predator.. sea slugs can then regenerate all of the organs that is has just gotten rid of.

  • Poor thing...

  • 0:52-0:55 orgasm

  • May people see from the others' perspective--including from a sea cucumber view. The sea cucumber has been strained to the point of engaging its survival mechanism to expel its gut, offer to the offending predator, and leave--except it is on the sand and cannot move away. If an organism has the nervous system, you can assume that it understands pain and pleasure. You can shut off your sensitivity and brutally attack, just because you can. Or be generous and be kind to your animal brothers.

  • LOL IT'S HAVING BABIESS

  • oh my god its having babies!!!!! wtf. lol stupid humans.

  • leave it alone! Humans have no respect

  • 1:37-1:39 retarded laugh

  • poke it, poke it! xD

  • "poke it! poke it pollo!"

  • those humans are so annoying. thank God this is the only time i'll ever have to hear them

  • "What is actually happening is a defense mechanism. When provoked by the proper stimulus, sea cumbers expel non-vital organs in hopes that the predator will be satisfied with the contents."

In other words sea cucumbers work for the obama administration when dealing with islamofascist terrorists.

  • He's scared of you. You should've helped it. Read about cucumbers please before you say anything.

  • @Lonewolfindarkness well-told!

  • It's not spilling guts it's not dead Dice said it all

  • Sea Cucumbers spit out some of their intestines to distract predators so they can escape including fish mostly.

  • the sea cucumber just took a huge dump...

  • most annoying bitch on the internet

  • Gosh you people are so fucking dumb it's actually pretty damn hilarious. Plus, your username is retarded, and so is your family.

  • it a sea cucumber already!

  • its dying only the white stuff is its defence but thats everything

  • 1st its not dead

    2nd its a defense

    3rd it isnt having babies

4th it isnt a sea slug

  • No its not a slug... It is not even related to a slug. Its a closer relative starfish/urchin family.

  • go to love those dumb people. making a fool of themselves.

  • *Alien bursts out of cucumber and sticks to girl's face*

  • good job guys on killing a innocent "sea cucumber" instead of putting it back in the water you sit there and torment the thing..

  • This is how sea cucumber die

  • not cool.

  • this is sad..poor thing

  • Yummy!

  • this is a freakin sea slug

  • people who said put back in the ocean is dumb cuz yall dont know if yall get something on your hands but i like the video nice job

  • "When threatened, some sea cucumbers discharge sticky threads to ensnare their enemies. Others can mutilate their own bodies as a defense mechanism. They violently contract their muscles and jettison some of their internal organs out of their anus. The missing body parts are quickly regenerated."

  • chill out ppl.

clearly they werent trying to hurt it or anything.... who the hell would have known it would do that just from rolling it over??? its not like they were throwing it around.

and when it began to do wat ever the hell it was doing, all they were doing was touching the stringy part at that time....

its only 1 sea slug or watever it is... its not the end of the world. maybe it was gonna do that regardless if they touched it or not....

  • "oh oh OH IT'S HAVING BABIES!!"

  • That is a terrible defense mechanism

  • haha @perry325233

  • STEP ON IT STEP ON IT

  • lol u just made my day when u said ''its making babies!!!'

  • alright, yeah they are stupid but yall shouldnt get heated over a sea cucumber......

  • @misstennessee88 THEY POKED IT IN THE NAME OF SCIENCE... but seriously, as an avid lover of all science, biology, nature and etc. this was horrible, i wish people would just learn about animals instead of randomly finding them and poking them with a shoe

  • that was cool. Ive never seen that :)

  • hmm maybe i should take out your guts and leave you out in the sun to dehydrate

  • STUPID STUPID STUPID. Leave the animal exploration to National Geographic or Animal Planet teams. When will you guys help save the planet and the animals?

  • GIRL: ITS HAVING BABIES!!!!

  • what do they eat they can´t survive without a meal???

i doesn´t mean this one i mean everyone

  • what do they eat they can´t survive without a meal???

  • GROSS /!\

  • People...it's called a defense mechanism....it's not dead...you're all jumping like they just skinned a puppy...ffs

And what kind a defense mechanism would kill you?

"look there's something that's going to eat me...i better kill myself so...that....i...could...live?"

  • it is his defense mechanism to scare away predators

  • ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ITZ havin babies lolz

  • first of all its not dead.

second; it does that as a natural response to make watever is a threat to him think its dead.

third; freakin throe it back in the water.

    fourth; its not having babies.

  • @MrZombieslayer123456 And fifth of all it doesn't have any guts.

  • EW! Sea Cucumber! STOP POOPING!

  • ....this video gave me the willies

  • Their defense mechanism is used to scare away or distract predators, but for humans, it entertains us enough to leave them alone after their found, or in this case, make them think it's dead Lol. Seems works either way ^^

  • Put it back, jerks :(

  • He is a barbarian!

  • Oh yea, and sea cucumbers dont have lungs, they have a respiratory tree which takes diffused oxygen out of the water. Btw, love her reaction at 0:41 :)

  • What is actually happening is a defense mechanism. When provoked by the proper stimulus, sea cumbers expel non-vital organs in hopes that the predator will be satisfied with the contents. This is an attempted to misdirect predators from going after the main body. Sea cucumbers also have saponins which is toxic when ingested. If the predator gets a taste of these unpalatable saponins with in the expelled contents, it will most likely be detered.

  • @minipimp2006 It is always sad and cute to see humans come upon animals, with no intent to harm them but we are so much bigger than them, so they thing they are a threat and do their little defense things. I wish I could tell them they do not need to because we love them and will not hurt them. :):):)

  • thats all its guts wasted

  • It's supposed to do that it spills it's guts out so it can go faster but since it was on land that didn't help much if you put it back in the water it would still surviv it will grow back it's insides

  • And i think my life sucks on occasion. At least i don't poop my intestines out under stress.

  • Poor thing. Sea Cucumbers naturally regurgitate their organs as a defense.

  • @lailay96 Grow up. It was dieing.

  • @shadowthehedgehog522 No, it doesn't do that as it dies. It does that as it's scared.

  • natrual defense

  • IT'S HAVING BABIES!!!!!! Lol it halrious !!!!

  • sea cucumbers "spit" out their insides so that whatever is bothering them will eat those and leave the sea cucumber alone. Then, it goes and regrows its insides to live another day.

  • grosss

  • hello thats a sea cucuber and that is pooop

  • "the natural process of nature" - whats more natural than nature?

  • @XXXkLeCiIj69XXX It doesn't even look like they took it from the ocean themselves...

  • stop touching eeet geez....

  • epic suicide!

  • he s still breathing xD EHEHEEEEHEHEHEH EHEHEEEEHEHEHE EHEHE l/omg like a chimp -.-

  • OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHH DON T TOUCH IT I M FILMING OOOOOOOOOOOOOOH!

  • Bullies.

  • @ImGodUFUCK nope the sea cucumber is a very simple animal and can regenerate is organs very quickly it expels them to temporarily satisfy a predator while it escapes

  • @TheBlessedOne29 i know but it probably should be in water while doing it..

  • ...Why wont you just throw it back to the ocean ?

  • but still kinda funny

  • 1) its not a sea slug

    2) it did not kill itself

    3) its a defence mechanism

  • @TheBlessedOne29

    1) it is a type of slug

    2) yes

    3) defense

    4) learn to spell

  • @camybratt the predator would eat the organs and it can escape and regenerate.

  • It usually expels only the white stuff (part of its respiratory system), how strange. Maybe it puked too much? LOL. It didn't know when to stop.... anyways, its best to put it back in the sea where it belongs. ):

  • And then it Evolves to BEEDRILL!!!

  • "OMG IT'S HAVING BABIES!!!" Lol

  • its a Sea cucumber

  • it does that as a scare tactic

  • oooooohhhh ggggooooooddd AAAAWWWWWEEEESSSSSSOOOOMOOMMMMEEEE

  • Yumm :p

    cucumber

  • im glad im not a sea cucumber

  • Stupid u didn't kill it it does

Tht as defense to scare predators sea cucumbers do tht too. It'll regenerate in a couple days

  • Put it back on the ocean.

  • things in the ocean are fucked up.

  • that's just its defense,

sea animals that wanna eat him will eat the guts and then they will leave him alone.

the guts will grow back in 2 - 3 days. I saw that on the movie "Life"

  • that is actually a maggot

  • @AngryLlamaz really!?!? i've never seen a ****ing magot that big! maybe you need to go back to kindegarden. Here's your milk little BABY!

  • its a sea cucumber and

shark:i bet u dont have guts sea cucumber

sea cucumber:check this out (spills its guts)

    shark:D:

  • Control your slef woman. Its a natural defence and those are not his gut, its predigested food and gela (a type of slime). But that yellow and red stuff, i'm not sure.

  • if it is alive, they usually expell their insides to distract the predator, then regenerate later

  • Wow, poor thing. Calm down woman.

  • nasty

  • dude, did u put him back into the water? :/ plz tell me u did...

  • no they didnt kill him or her its a sea cucumber DUH! and its just defendin himself pay attention to marine sci. !!! it grows its intestines back dnt worry! ;)

  • i dont understand why she acts so suprised like she doesnt see a white shlong and a pile of that goo everytime in bed

  • Sea Slug ≠ Sea Cucumber but the same phylum

    And wtf

    Babies? haha

  • its not DEAD!!! its a defense trick it can eject all of its guts ou so the attack can eat the guts while the body [alive] swim away and regenerate its organs in this case its dead cause theres no sea water!!!

  • Poor thing >:(

  • lol Their defense is so screwed up... I think evolution was trying to make a joke

  • i'm a sea cucumber, would you like to see my guts?

thank you for looking at my guts

  • its not dead, it excreetes its guts out to distract the enemy trying to eat it.. it will grow them back.

  • It was still alive. That was a defense mechanism to trap the attacker. Those were guts just uneeded ones

  • This is what the first contact with aliens will end up like.

  • If it had been placed in the water, it may have had a chance. It wasn't dying; it was trying to protect itself.

  • Bahaha it's not meant to scare the predator, as most sea animals tend not to be quite as squeamish as people. It's meant to actually feed the predator so the predator won't eat the slug itself.

  • why?! why does it do that?

  • It's a defence mechanism in order to scare the predators away. A sea cucumber can regererate new intestines in few weeks.

  • By the way, this is called Evisceration.

  • very cool. thanks for the info
