  • aww will's just a lil one here, how time flies.

  • LOL, I know, right? It's sad in a way :/

  • 3:13 - M4 with M6 dummy. I've been seeing that one (or whichever other M4s with M6 dummy cars) more and more lately.

  • So have I. It's pretty bizare.

  • @Train538 Saw a couple of videos from other uploaders with something I only heard about, but never saw before: An M6 pair, an M6 that, like with a couple of M4s, is missing the dummy/center car.

  • i used to take the train from darien to greens farms so i could get to school, but then i moved out to fairfield.

  • That's cool. Oh really? That's pretty ironic! I live right in Southport!

  • Great Video

  • Thank-you!

  • i dont under stand, this video was taken on nov,2007? why didnt you upload it earlier? lol

  • I've been trying to but the only problem was that I didn't have any kind of software to convert the .vob format into .mpeg format.

  • I'm glad to finally see a video from you. The funny thing is I was just in Fairfield a week and a half ago. If you go to my background, you'll see a picture I took of a Metro-North train just east of Fairfield station.

  • You know that building that's right next to the station on the southbound side. Well, that's my current middle school so since I have been going there since the start of the new school year, I know when every train goes by now.

  • Wow, you're lucky! I live near a freight line here in Florida, but the stupid thing about freight is they don't run on any schedules. That means I have no idea when to go catch them. Only 10 trains go through each day and 3 hours may go by in between them. I'm not going to sit at the crossing for 3 hours waiting!

  • That stinks. Which railway?

  • Florida East Coast. The route is obvious. It starts in Jacksonville at a yard shared with CSX, and from there follows the east coast to Miami. It's not nearly as busy as CSX which runs a ton of trains through FL each day. In fact Jacksonville has one of their busiest yards and Jacksonville is CSX's headquarters. I still don't like freight though because of their unpredictability. With Amtrak and commuters railroads, especially there, you can plan your railfan trips by looking at the timetable.

  • Florida East Coast! That's really cool! Ya still, the passengers are better.

  • Nice!! But you need AMTK!

  • I guess you weren't watching between 4:47 and 5:00.

  • There's a southbound Acela Express going by with horn!

  • good work for your first video! keep 'em comin - the only real way to get any better is to keep trying.

also - why is there text in the center of the screen on your video - did you use an editing program demo version that "watermarks" everything?

  • I'm not sure what those words are in the middle. I just noticed it myself. I used a special formatting program. Thanks for the comment!
