His huge salary does come from public taxes. You have to see the big picture. Each college team that makes a profit depends on having 25 other college teams that lose games and lose money. It's not just the big head coach's salary, but a 25 large staffs, 25 arenas with maintenance and last but not least, billions in scholarships to people who are have low abilities. The vast majority of the money comes from forced student fees.- Not a free market of a willing fans.
