  • The Jockey and The Horse. Such a perfect match. It made me tear up when I saw the last portion.

  • i don't get this so-called act of compassion that was really nothing more than just a logical step to stop chrsmatc and get off him out of concern for his leg which was the right thing to do and i'm glad he did it. but does it look ridiculous to anyone else when he falls over on to the ground and can barely keep his balance when he get's up kinda sad

  • Love Charismatic. What a great horse.

  • My OTTB is a son of Charismatic, and it breaks my heart to think that this extordenary animal is in Japan...that is if he is even alive anymore. He is such a special horse, and I think he proved that point when he still finished in the money in the Belmont stakes even though his leg was broken. Being a horse owner and lover the only thing I don't like about horse racing is that there is too much money involved and people loose compassion for the beautiful animals that made them so rich.

  • I say bring Charismatic home NOW! And thank you Chris for saving him! Your own demons may have eaten you alive but you helped save a wonderful horse and that is not something that will be forgotten.

  • each would win 5

  • Charismatic is one of histories most underrated race horses. He ran the last 1/4 mile of the Belmont on a broken leg and still finished third. He definitely had his great grandsires heart, if not his legs (the great Secretariat). What a shame he isn't remembered for the great horse he was, so close to racing immortality, he is still one of my favorites and would love to meet him. Thanks for the great videos Carly, I only dissagree with u on 1 point, If Secretariat and ManOwar met 10 times, Cont.

  • vonne,pipe down already.

The saddest thing I've seen in racing. I've been in the "horsey amblulance" before but seeing the Ant right his wrong and save Char was heartbreaking.

  • Yeah it makes me sick what happened to Ferdinand....The owners gotta be the sickest people on this earth....That horse took himself and all the connections.. To the absolute top of the sport of kings....They all had an experience of a lifetime...The Kentucky Derby is probably the biggest sporting event in America..I know it is in my mind anyway!!!.The horse definitely earned to have a happy healthy retirement .....Again i am sickened by this...... You will always be a champ to me Ferdinand!!!

  • Chris Antley wat a great guy 1 of my favourite jockeys along with Richard Migliorie and Robbie Davis...

  • aweee thats my horses daddy :]] haha

  • Charismatic is still alive

  • I don't know if his alive, but his in japan! Don't believe me? Search: Where racehorses go to retire.

Then you'll see the nasty truth!

  • Okay. He is in Japan. Since Ferdinand they've taken great care of their horses/

  • @carlykaiser Then why do 20,000 go to slaughter every year?

  • Charismatic is my favorite horse and he is still alive standing stud in Japan. A few months ago I was visiting " Old Friends" rescue and retirement for horses and Michael Blowen said that as soon as he is done there in Japan, he will be sent back here to the US to retire there at " Old Friends" along with War Emblem who is also there now. I can't wait to see this great horse that would have won the Triple Crown if not for an injury. Horse slaugher is a huge issue here in the US as well.

  • yeah true

  • oh my god ,,,,when is this going to end ,,,,whats the real problem here ????????

  • your the one who likes to make things up ,you did say that i said that a girl horse was a stud ,,,,,,i didnt say that!!!,,,,,i know they r nor ......that was the start of this whole thing ...an as i said as you saying u know about horses it was a figure of speach ,meaning thats how you come accross

  • I never said you said that ,,,,its what you think ,you think you are better than anyone ,,,using my words against me ,come on

  • Yes you did.

"and what shes also saying is that shes the only person to ever know about horses and go to stud farms"

  • anyway i want to know what the problem is ?????

  • There is no problem. I was just correcting you, then you flipped out. I am aware that I "started it," but we are both responsible for continuing it.

  • and what shes also saying is that shes the only person to ever know about horses and go to stud farms (she'll say i said ,stud farm wrong next )

  • I said that? Really?

I never said I am the only person ever to know about horses going to stud farms. Why did you just make that up? How are you benefiting from that?

  • so shes a person playing mind games so yeah im going to lash out ,do you blame me

  • So of course im going to get a little jacked at her

  • she strarted it ,we we talking about horses . she said i said something i didnt say and everytime i said i didnt say that she kept twisting my words . she said to me that she was going to shoot me down in flames because i was wrong ...she said that i said that a girl horse was a stud (i never said that) i know that they are not studs and i said to her that i know ,but she wouldnt have it .and now shes sending e-mails saying im an idiot ..she just sent me an e-mail saying she never said it.

  • Look who's twisting words now!

    A+!!

And I never did say you're an idiot. Go back and see who said it. :-)

  • it's so sad what christ antley after this. but at least charismatic lived on to be stud.
