  • Morricone created some of the greatest western music in film. However one rising star named John Psathas has brought back the prestige back to the western genre with his work on Good For Nothing. bit. ly/eOX07K

  • Nothing compares to Ennio. Ethereal Western Cowboy music. Majestic, epic!

Why are there no honors for this video? It's awesome.

  • esa película me la enseño mi padre que ya tiene 60 años y me pareció super

  • i thought it was an indian flute or something. it's awesome that u can make the same sound with a simple clarinet.

  • 5 people have disliked it, sorry to be rude but I think they should be mentally retarded. This movie is a benchmark for other movies.

  • i love orchestra music but im too afraid to tell my friends ^^

  • @OlDirtyBizza Pfft you should be proud to have good taste. Be embarrassed when you realize you like more that 15% of popular music on the radio.

  • why isn't there a man screaming WAWAWAAA

  • thumbs up .. who like The UGLY (who turned bad at the end) more than The GOOD!!

  • Até arrepia de ouvir assim. Fantástico. Como o conjunto de toda obra do maestro Ennio Morricone: Gênio.

  • I love it!

  • hope this is 480p

  • I'm drunk and aroused......my gf sleeping ofc.....

  • Trumpet solos are sick

  • i usually despise westersn but when i watched the good, bad and the ugly..i thought it was genius, including the music.. the only thing i didnt like was a few scenes but then i found out i watched the extended version and the scenes i didnt like was the added ones..next time im gonna watch the theatrical version and it'll be a masterpiece

  • Hail to the King!

  • There are two kinds of people, those who can whistle, and those who dig, you dig.

  • WHY THE HELL WASN'T THIS IN RED DEAD REDEMPTION

  • A dude in a biker bar has this ring tone. As soon as we all heard it, we all said 'Man that's cool"!

  • Indeed, it is very technically correct but not spiritually there.

  • These people are much too separate from the music. Not living it. Not being it.

  • How the hell did Ennio Morricone NEVER WIN A GRAMMY!

  • All Dollar movies are the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Ramones forever!!!

  • from the best movie made EVER! THIS IS NO OPINION, THIS IS A FACT!

  • Today, 15.7.2011, I saw/listen it in Prague. Just Epic...no words

  • Finalmente un italiano di cui andare fieri

  • @mintripperz

Si, potete esser fieri di lui. Pero, ci sono anche gli altri.

  • UNA MELODIA MUY HERMOSA,,ME GUSTA

  • Yeah those old westerns are unmatched. Its as if the movie crew, stepped into a time machine, went back in time and made a movie, it feels that real! The "westerns" they make today are a joke.

  • @youngfart40 what about Rango!? actually all joking aside Rango is probably one of the better Westerns turn of the century...

  • The master composer/ conductor.

  • the trumpet players don't have anywhere near the chops of the original folks

    wow

  • I play bassoon and bass clarinet. BASSOON FTW it makes me said not to see a bass clarinet

  • @BobbleheadLuck *sad

  • i think that 1 dislike is from simon cowell!! lolll

  • @omdhd even he cannot dislike this too :)

  • 220 people got the rope cut in time, the 1 was Shorty

    "Sorry, Shorty."

  • when i close my eyes. i can see the barn, the horses roaring, cowboy boots stomping, and gun fights, and rivers, and dawns after sunsets. they were all so real. thank you Ennio Morricone, for this brilliant art piece!

  • I would think that it would be a honor just to play for this man. after all he is the best in the world.

  • tuco je car ;)))

  • Such a pleasure watching this video...

  • ahah wawawa, ahah, wawawa, ahah, wawawawa, ah ah wa wawa. Thumbs up if you get it :)

  • Between them, the music, the orchestra and the movie cover a great range of human experience and emotion. Thanks.

  • 1 Poor Bastard Is Deaf!!

  • That girl looks like .. Hilary Swank .. !

  • even though Ennio is my favorite composer and arguably the most talented of the century,I still believe the original, raw version of the theme suits the tough cowboy theme,

this orchestra version is too soft

  • @Hashashasheen agree but still thinks his music to the that movie is one the most syncronized ever

  • loool the film is called the good, the bad and the ugly: it's all about those 3 men, the number 3 and the uneasy alliances it brings with it is an issue throughout the entire film, and how do the germans translate it? two glorious bastards lol

  • 169like:1 dislike ... probably the most perfect video ever on youtube

  • truly amazing music + movie = cant explain in words...

  • I play guitar and piano, not close to the skills of a symphonic musician, but still. I can imagine it must be a wonderfull feeling to play such music with eaqually skilled persons. Gives me chills just to watch.

  • @TheCauseOfWetPantiez who let you out of your padded mental room?

  • The sound is not very good !!

  • Morricone just oozes music from his soul, a God-given gift.

  • The Nice, The Best and The Great music by Ennio Morricone music!

  • I stand and clap. Bravo!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Arguably one of the best movie themes ever written.

  • incredible

  • AUuuuuu...legendarna melodija...:)

  • me gusta!!

  • Simply magnificent!!!!!

  • Was this released in a DVD?

If so, please tell me the title

  • @DarkMaiden117 Yes, this is available on DVD: Morricone conducts Morricone (EuroArts Music., 2006), you can order it e.g on JPC mailorder.

The concert was in Munich, 20 October 2004. I was there and it was fantastic.

  • quote tucco: If I get my hand on the two hundred thousand dollars, I'll always honor your memory. I swear.

and i said me too lol!!

  • Versions for you possess the original? No parts of the movie?

  • I am listening to this music for the last 40 years. I am from a remote small town called Davanagere, Karnataka State, India. This is simply marvelous. The drums are excellent, the trumpet is mind blowing and whole orchestra is well coordinated. Hats off to Ennio and Sergio

    Sekhar.S.iyer, Mysore, karnataka, India

  • These ppl take their westerns really seriously

  • unbelievable!

  • Absolutly top

  • It is very lovely and lively to listen to this master piece work by Ennio Morricone! He is superb forever! My all time favourite music cannot be rejected by anyone!

  • lol i just imagiand the men in the chorus reading the lyrics but they just said ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ahhhhhhhhhhhh ahhhhhhhhhhhh ah ahhhhhhhhh

  • A great movie and great music score. Fantastic!

  • this is music is is a legend in bollywood for any scence in movie having horse races or like that.

personally i love this composition and i dont know how many times i watch this movie

  • the best ... sem comentários .. o melhor do mundo

  • This is an ok version, but I prefer the version in the original soundtrack with the more offbeat sounds. The other sounds replaced by orchestral instruments are more or less ok -the wind section instead of the guitar is a bit odd, but ok- but the clarinet feels plain weird, especially when the whole orchestra was playing.

  • @billstpor

Dont denounce the lovley clarinet girl, she is doing a fantastic job

  • No soundtrack composer ever matches IL MAESTRO Ennio Morricone!!

I admired him just when I was 16 years old going ar evenings to MOGADISHU cinemas to see Italian Western films

  • Esas trompetas y los coros suenan gloriosos.

  • perfect..

  • As an inspiring filmmaker interested in making Westerns, I would LOVE to have a theme song just as brilliant as this! Maybe I'll hire Ennio Morricone to compose it!

  • i have to confess, the dark haired girl and redhead playing clarinet are both very pretty!

  • It takes great skill to play an instrument, but it must take equally as much to make all the instruments come together and create a sound so enjoyable to listen to.

I struggle to comprehend the tallent of Ennio Morricone.

  • @SuperGravey I have this problem with pretty much every single composer

  • @SuperGravey I believe it takes even more so!

  • @SuperGravey and to spell talent, clearly.

  • @SuperGravey i struggle to comprehend the talent of CHUCK NORRIS!!

  • Oi Por favor você tem a original sem as partes do filme?

só a orquestra sem as cenas do filme?

Por favor estou procruando a dias!

translation: into English if you do not have translators but please reply in English even.

Hi Please do you have the original parties without the film?

only the orchestra without the scenes of the movie?

    Please am looking to day!

  • trumpets 1:49 so good

  • i love the part when they show him talkign...all of the prefomances sound different...
