It's not sachin who falsely claim the catch, it is umpire's mistake (to not recheck it - as ball clearly touch the ground)
Usually, in those instance players (like gilchrist) ask the umpire to recheck as they aren't sure.

@sanjumadhav Not clear at all -you are blinded by your support for SRT. Fist appeal, the ball hits the ground just before it goes into the palm. 2nd one too close to say. I don't blame SRT at all for this - it is not cheating when the fielder does not know that it has bounced. That is what the umpires are for. The commentators could not agree even with slowmo; under the laws of the game, the benefit of doubt should go to the batsman.
