Bayern were lucky to reach the final, even Van Gaal admitted it himself. With that said, it was fucking stupid of Rafael to kick Van Bommel for the first yellow card. But now he's learned from his mistakes and his rapid progression this season has been spectacular.

whats the big deal about admitting mistakes, you "bayern-was-lucky" guys?! most of the goals scored in both legs were scored because of horrible defense + useful offense. 1-0, 2-0, 3-1 in this leg. 0-1, 2-1 in the first leg. why call that luck?

@evropekon I have watched the highlights again and I maintain my view that they were marginally better: 2-1 was an accurate reflection of the game. Furthermore if you want to talk about the United goal being a fluke maybe you should take another look at Bayern's goals: the Olic goal was a result of a huge mistake by Evra, and the Ribery goal was an massive deflection. It's ok though, you're American so I don't expect you to understand football in the same way as I don't understand your football.
