Weatherston got legal aid, and Ablett-Kerr's fees for the murder trial were covered by that. Why is it her fault his family had to mortgage their home even if he didn't get legal aid? Now the legal system needs to take a good look at itself as to how a defence team could even consider provocation in this case. Too many lawyers just wanting to line their pockets. They should be 'fined'.
