Not the Audi drivers fault at all. He had the inside line, he had the momentum.  BMW entered the turn shallow and moved high on the exit then moved down to block. Audi was already there.

@XCRunnernr No, i don't think there can be any mistaking the fact that this was not a tight corner, otherwise the Audi would have drifted much further to the outside. It had plenty of control. The green bimmer was ahead of him and the audi could have braked to avoid collision. instead he dove into the rear corner of the forward car and sent it spinning. He moved inside with the car he sent spinning so as to avoid contact to a more aggressive degree.

The driver of the BMW needed to track out of the corner, he was pinching his exit to block the R8. It's not the R8's fault, he gave the Beemer plenty of room on the exit and the beemer pinched it down.

For all of you that think he purposely pushed the car of the track, guess again. As you can see, the B6 GT3 was about to complete the pass on the outside with the R8 LMS right behind, halfway through the pass the R8 was now in the B6's blind spot and with the R8 going faster than the B6, he was forced off the track by the R8's speed.

Believe me when I saw there is no unfair racing in GT3. Even if it was intentional, the R8 would've gotten a black flag.

Look at the car- it's not a BMW but a Alpina(I know that's a modified BMW but Alpina is like a other car make that is independent from BMW) so it's not BMW decision. If BMW build a M6 race car they would use it but BMW race car is a M3(olso in the past like the M3 e36 GT2 or M3 e46 GTR).
