  • So if I have a 1TB external hard drive formatted in NTFS, will this router ASUS RT-N13U support it?

  • @Geeksweblog: I did not check it with a NTFS formatted drive, but with a 250 GB portable HDD formatted in FAT32 and it did work.

  • @Geeksweblog I work with NTFS also

  • @OoOHumanOoO: As I said I did not test it with NTFS and I no longer have this router to test it with NTFS.

  • Isn't it true that most routers only support FAT32 when you hook up your external drive? Meaning that files of above 4 GB (f.e. HD movies) can't be used?

  • @kenjuma: not true FAT32 is supported by all routers that support external HDD but some routers support other files formats too like NTS and linux file system where we do not have the 4GB limitation, but again before purchasing the router it's wise to check which file format is supported.

  • I can hear the traffic in the background... :|

  • @wdrpsp19: Yep its pretty noisy here next to the main road, you might be surprised how much noise I am cutting down...... by playing around with the mic's but I need to sound proof the room........ to make it completely silent.

  • the PS3 slim consumes around 1/2 of the original version. If you still don't want that much of power consumption, do what ranjit says.

  • gud job ranjit; keep it up; (Y)

  • @aryaanahmed: thanks
