i do have some tips i kno u may have started since u posted it 5 months ago but wen me and my friend started to play soccer my friend was goalie so he needed some1 to help him train and i helped so now the more he succeeds the harder i had to kick and that wat made him better

basicly u need ppl to help u train starting from soft kicks to harder

Dude, when u catch the ball you use it to soften the landing, to make sure u hold on to it, its good to land on it. You obviously dont now shit about Goalkeeping. Lol No Offence. You land on your side usually when you parry it. But it all comes down to what the Goalie is comfortable with.

it's safer for your hands, plus, there's less of a chance that the ball will slip through your hands...trust me, it's happened to me!

except this wasn't a game and you should be practicing catching the ball not making some Hollywood saves..trust me I know!! Chris you need to quit trying to showboat on your saves and just practice making the real saves. you can make easy saves look spectacular but the saves you need to make, you don't...practice.

I'm not trying to be mean when i say this, just trying to make a point...but incase you didn't notice, a lot of the saves he made could have easily been made to look more spectacular by tipping them, but he didn't. Plus, you only have a split-second to make a decision, so give him a break.

I think I know since I am a college keeper!! so you back off...What I meant is the shooter lofts some balls so he can jump in the air and make an easy, spectacular looking save, but when the shooter actually tries and shoots a good ball the keeper does nothing or can't stop it, those are the shots he needs to practice, not doing stuff for a video!!!
