Oh the memories of my ten precios days as a trial... with my 2 friends always being on learning new things and finishing Darkshore for the first time.... I told them I would get the full version... but I lost contact with them :( thekingskin and sylarieth on Stormrage... I havent forgotten u 2! I use alot of "..."s.
The exposition for Darkshore was amazing. Though I never had any emotional attachment to the NPCs—that would be weird—it was pretty harsh seeing all the familiar names sprawled across the shore, dying or dead.
When I saw those dead elves in the inn place in Auberdine...I just lost it..I cannot just sit and cry while there's innocent citizens dieing, no..There's something to be done..Deathwing..Must..Fall!
I think something happened to the music development team at blizzards...I see a huge evolution in the soundtracks. The new one comes with so much power and emotion....I'm really overwhelmed
@NIN1024 If they had taken drugs the music would sound... a lot different than this. I think they just put more emotion and feeling into their game. They wanted to give each place its own unique feeling... and that is what they did. Orgrimmar sounds a lot different than the elves, which sound much different than the humans. Each place, each character, each atmosphere evokes a different, yet equally poweful emotion. That is what Blizzard is striving for here, I believe.
@kaypirinia I agree - it is absolutely amazing how much the music has changed. Some of the tracks are so beautiful, like this, and the Grove of the Ancients music, and the new Elwynn music. And some of it is so epic, like Eye of the Vortex and Nightsong. And some of it is so dark but powerful, like the new Stormwind music... it really is amazing how different the new stuff is.
@kaypirinia Their cutscenes and movies were like that in Wrath. I mean the cinematic intro, the 3.3 patch trailer, Arthas' death, and even the Wrath Gate scene were all quite moving.
R.I.P, the most peaceful town in WoW. i remember falling off the boat and finding myself here. I thoguht the quests were really hard. so i gave up on them. Good times..... :( poor Auberdine!

It wasn't the cataclysm that wiped out Auberdine, it was actually a bunch of hordies trashing Auberdine on the way to Darnassus.
