I think it's the "OMG I never expected that; he's awesome" type of laugh, not the "OMG another tone deaf noob that thinks he can sing" type of laugh. If you watch the audition clip (short ver) you'll see they're all awestruck and give him the golden ticket without hesitation.

Also funny in the audition clip is their first impression when his guitar is even more out of tune than here :P Sorta like "uhm ... let's hope he can sing better than he can tune his guitar"
