That's why it is a great time to accept Christ and earn a ticket on the pre-trib rapture (I don't think it is likely that the rapture will happen before the mega-depression with follow-up hyper-stagflation hits though - this is the restructure for the anti-christ). It will only be helpful in the inflationary times leading up the tribulation, but don't get too much - somebody will steal it.

I think it either nations derived from the greco-roman culture (assuming Gold=Babylon, Silver=Persia, Bronze=Greece, Iron=Rome, Iron/Clay=fragmented nation heavily influenced by roman culture), or nations that use aramaic-derived alphabets (arabic / syriac). Possibly the end of the oil empire? Who really knows though.
